- Here I present to you the new Hostel Tour Video of My college IIIT Kottayam, Kerala
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam at Valavoor, Pala, Kerala is one among the IIITs that have been established as "Institutions of National Importance" by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the ambit of IIIT (PPP) Act 2017. IIIT Kottayam campus is situated at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam - a picturous location, spread over in 53 acres of land - allotted by Govt. of Kerala in the southern part of the state commonly referred to as God's Own Country.

Bhaiya muje nits me civil, chemical... branch mil rhe he or iiit Kottayam me cse muje kya prefer krna chahiye
Agar college acha dekh rahe ho branch se koi matlab nhi, yaa higher studies ka plan hai like GATE or Civil Services toh NIT le sakte ho, else always prefer branch.
IIITs ka CSE NITs ke comparison mein better hota hai because NITs mein 1st year mein sabko common padhaya jata hai like Physics, Chemistry, (Biology in some NITs), etc. jabki IIITs mein 1st year se sirf apne kaam ka padhte hai, programming, Maths and Electronic Circuits. Almost all IIITs follo curriculum of IIIT Hyderabad. You can check the curriculum on the college website.
In the end, it's a choice of which plan do you have for your future, choose accordingly.

I got 97.36 percentile general male will I get cse here
For sure, however with this percentile you may get even better college maybe an NIT, check last year stats for a better idea.
@@SarthakGupta i got 97.8 percentile , i will get civil in nit warangal, metallurgy in nit surathkal, mechanical in nit nagpur , ee,ece in norhtern nits like jalandhar, hamripur ....but i want only CSE and i will get it in most of IIITs , which should i choose bhaiya?

Bhaiya ,i am from Patna ,bihar .Should I take cse here if I get it having not many option available at 96.4 percentile. My parents are concerned for the long distance.
Yes, distance is a concern. However with this percentile you may get IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Una, IIIT Sri City, IIIT Sonepat.
Also NIT Bhopal, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Jamshedpur are also an option but branch would be very lower.
Go to JoSAA website and check last year stats for these colleges from round 1-6, also check CSAB stats. i got IIIT Kottayam CS from CSAB, a lot of people ignore it but it can do miracles.

Yes, I did. My priority was also CS. It all comes to how deep have you understood the stats. I'll recommend you to get those tables from josaa and CSAB website copy them to excel, filter out according to your category and then sort according to closing ranks.
I did this for IITs, NITs and IIITs separately and for each round. And also for CSAB and get them printed on paper.
Don't go for councellors 90% of them are scams. See campus tour videos and college review videos. Ritik Meghwani's channel is a goldmine for it. After JEE Advance, that 1 month was very hectic for me and my mom as we both were just scrolling through sheets and watching each campus tour and review video.
Making the priority list is not an easy task bro. Because if you didn't make a good list your hard earned rank will go waste.
Bhaiya iiit 2021 or 2022 ki ews ranking me bhut difference he jese apki pdf ke according iiit Kottayam 5900 rank tk he or 2022 ke according 5200 pr he kya is baar bhi a skta he itne difference meri rank 4811 he kya muje mil jayega iiit Kottayam???

You can expect by CSAB Round 2 for CSE, and for EC you can expect in Round 6 JoSAA

They are good, last year's avg package was 13lpa and highest was 51lpa and 3 people got it.
