ROH is the only company I know that would think it's a good idea to debut the Beautiful People in fucking Madison Square Garden. They dropped the ball on this show HARD. If the NJPW wrestlers weren't there, this show would have been horrid.

Tbh, Jay Lethal as champ was becoming very stale and his championship reign just dragging on. At least Taven has personality and him being the leader of The Kingdom only helps give him some heat. It was a "remake" of the Okada Vs Tanahashi story kind of: Jay White shockingly won the title despite being relatively new to the promotion and young. However, he became too confident in his own skills and arrogant, which eventually led to his downfall, dropping the title to Okada. I too think they should've booked White to win to shock the crowd (everyone was expecting Okada to win), but I think that's what they were going for
Thank you both so much. That actually really helped me out. I do love a good reign from Okada, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't look forward to White inevitably getting his hands on it once again. Or it could be Naito all over again where he wins the title and losses it pretty soon after, to this day never getting to hold it since.
ROH needs to do a complete overhaul of their production. I understand that this is their first arena show(if you don't count All In), but it didn't even seem like they tried.
If I was NJPW, this would be the last co-promotion show I'd run with ROH. They proved themselves last night to be absolutely amateur and not worthy of sharing the stage with a company like NJPW.

Was the Enzo and Cass thing very horribly done? yes, but I trust ROH to not hire complete morons, if Enzo has actulally learned how to work, I'm fine with that. Taven winning the title was great, especially after the 60 minute draw him and Lethal had, it's a great closing to that part of the story, we can still see Lethal get it back potentially, but I'm ready for Taven as champ, as much as I wanted Marty to win the big one.

The opening match and the jr heavyweight title are very good and the tag team was pretty good
