@@ariimihicalmes3424 While that's kind of truth in japanese folklore, it is not in GI, Yae is older than 500 years old, but not much, since she's a child during cataclysm event.
You mean the 500 years Ei shut herself in. Instead of grieving together with her friend, Yae, who lost a family in Saiguu as well, Ei abandoned her pet for 500 years. And Miko was much younger when she lost her family and got ghosted by her best friend.
Miko couldn't care less, it's not in her personality
It's so emotional finding videos of Miko and Ei younger and watching them grow up together. Then having Ei leave and watching the years go by ugh you really told there story through this. Then top of. that you gave them the happy ending they needed. Hit right into the feels. I love your art style and honestly its just perfect. A true masterpiece indeed. I hope there will be more in the future ^_^ if not then at least we got this masterpiece.

Yae Miko's words about Euthymia without moon and wind... is an adapted fragment of a love poem taken from the book "The Seasons" (Chinese 素年锦时) by Li Jie (Chinese 励婕), more commonly known by her pen name Anni Baobei or Annie Baby (Chinese: 安妮宝贝). She is nicknamed "Flower in the Dark" by her readers due to her novels' themes of loneliness and isolation.

Miko confessed to Ei in the game in her monologue "Kagura's Verity" using an adapted love poem.

Its sad how nobody talks about miko's trauma. Kitsune saiguu and miko were reallyyyyy close, i consider them mother and daughter tbh, then when kitsune saiguu died ei left to the plane of euthymia, what did miko feel? she was left the after kitsune saiguu died and ei left her for 500 years. This animation is beyond beautiful i might be crying...

I really hope, that when it comes time for Raiden and Yae to get their secondary outfits; that it’s Yae’s older shrine maiden outfit and (please MiHoYo) let Raiden’s be Ei’s original outfit that changes the personality/dialogue/voice lines from Raiden to Ei when you equip it. 🥲
