I made an error in the presentation about Recertification. Per the latest CCO handbook the 3 year recertification only requires a "practical examination" not both written and practical (unless certification expires). Sorry for the confusion!
    RECERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
CCO certification is valid for three years. Recertification candidates must complete all recertification requirements during the 12 months prior to their certification’s expiration date. This includes:
    • Passing the Telehandler practical examination(s)
    • Compliance with CCO’s Substance Abuse Policy
    • Compliance with the Code of Ethics
The Telehandler Operator recertification examination is identical to the practical exam required for initial certification.
Recertification candidates may take their Telehandler Operator recertification exam up to one year prior to their certification’s date of expiration. Regardless of the date of the practical examination within that one-year period, the new three-year certification period begins from the date of expiration of the candidate’s current certification.
There is no grace period after their certification expires.
