Please don't teach wrong stuffs. We never have internal connections. We use Pi and Gi values to generate lookahead sum and carry. Though logically you are correct, implementation wise, it is wrong.

parallel prefix doesnt takes a common carry in start here we take a common carry in start through which others are predicted in parallel each full adder waits for the previous adder to complete its task resulting in creating delay to remove this we use cla adder in which rather then depending on previous adders we only depend on the first one when ones the carry is taken common for it the rest carries are predicted and delivered simultaneously
