    I think that her net should reveal enemies trapped inside (e.g. one yellow pulse like cypher cam etc) and her traps shouldn’t be destroyable when activated .

      They recently buffed nade a bit,wider range,trapped till removed And longer removal time,combined with smoke if it revealed enemies aswell it would be ultra deadly tho.

    Sonic sensor should send a signal if someone walks by, but just only stun if noise is made

    Deadlock main here with 250+ hours. You can still use the wall to boost, although it’s much harder and requires specific lineups. I have tons and use them to catch people with an off-angle.
    Personally, I like that her abilities don’t recharge as I enjoy the resource management part of her kit and find the right time to use it.
    The sound aspect of her sonic sensor is unique and I think her sensor simply needs increased placement range (15->20), the ability to not be broken after already activating and the ability to pick it up and place it back down during the round.
    Yes, the wall is easy to break when thrown reactively but you really do need specific lineups to be sure your wall is going to cover a choke with 2+ nodes.
    Her GravNet is absolutely worthless with the sole exception of catching someone off guard in the open. I think it should take double the time to remove the net (0.75s -> 1.5s) or make them unable to shoot their gun until the net is removed, encouraging players to actually remove it and give off a sound queue.
    If someone’s judging in a corner, you can’t clear it with anything in her kit right now other than her ultimate. Speaking of, I think her ultimate is decent as is. Yes, it’s annoying when they get stuck but most the time it’s a bug that seems to be getting fixed as time goes on. I think if it could catch multiple players, it gives it the potential to be too strong.
    Just some sleep deprived thoughts on her and what they should/could change. I personally like the idea of her net making them unable to shoot until they’re untied but maybe that’d be too strong, who knows.

      i like all your points but clearing out someone judging in a corner isn't her role, that's an initiator's. only maybe cypher and kj could do that with cam/molly

      @@novathedude You're so right. Didn't realize until you pointed it out but not every agent can do everything on their own. Been asking for utility lately and performing a lot better in comp matches, still Gold 3 and still have a ton to learn :,)

    The problem is that i dont think Riot will make the sensors be able to watch flank because they said when they put a rangé on chamber’s trap that they want the ability to have info anywhere on the map to be the identity of cypher and cypher alone. Even as a cypher main i find it dumb and it clear that sentinels NEED to provide some sort of information to be viable (with sage and deadlock having none and have 1% pickrate max)

    I think her Gravity Net should be closer to chambers slow and when the grenade is thrown and hit an enemy the entire are is slowed for 7 secs.

    I do think she needs a bit of a rework, but I kinda like the idea that deadlock is an agent solely based on sound, it's a cool niche.
    Her Ult is easy to home in when someone makes sound around corners, trips are sound triggered, gravnet gives you a sound cue and the wall is good not only for stalling a push as an obstacle, if people get too close you hear a sound as they bump into the wall.
    I think her trips wouldn't work so well if they just activated as soon as you entered the range Cuz as U said, it's way too easy to dodge. Maybe you should be able to pick if the trip checks for sound or if it's just there to check flank and stun immediately? Gravnet is just straight up bad lol. I've always thought the dev's idea with it was for people to make lineups on her trips so when people try to remove it they get stunned, effectively keeping them stuck in place or forced to get stunned if you peek, but that's kinda dumb, the fact that it's a piece of utility that you are forced to waste to use your other abilities makes no sense, it has no inherent value other than to throw it to combo with Ult, or if you have a 500 iq brain, try and guess the timings of someone's flank to catch them sneaking past your trips.
    I love the way Deadlock was made in paper, yet she is just so underwhelming compared to other agents, but i don't know how you'd remake her kit without completely erasing that staple with which she was founded upon.

    sonic sensor should have a louder sound cue that plays intermittently to detect enemies but it instantly triggers if enemies make sound near it

    I think that the sensor would be better if it also did what a gravnet did but make it disposable like the gravnet is now. The the gravnet could be made so that you cant get rid of the effect until the net dissapears and it would give like 15% inaccuracy or some other debuff. Also the wall could have two forms one as it is and one focused more as a wall with two three stronger points to hold chokes. Her ult would also be better if it stunned the enemy after release and had more hp.

    In my opinion it's should be like this :
    GravNet :
    - All movement ablity like Jett's Updraft and Dash, Neon Slide, Raze's Satchel boost can't use to escape from pinned down state.
    - Make it last longer to remove the net and reduce accuracy when getting stuck by it.
    Sonic Sensor :
    - This skill is fine for me
    Barrier Mesh :
    - Make it able to reset or form up the barrier back again after being destroyed. like 30 seconds to regenarate. and Deadlock will recieve notification immedately after the barrier has been destroyed.
    - In addition make her wall able to toggle on/off but with less cooldown like 5-10 seconds.
    - Ability can be pre-place and reclaim in buying phase. but unable to reclaim again in action phase. Ability duration from 45s > umlimited.
    Annihilation :
    - This ablility need bug fix like this vid commended.

    i feel like if they give her sonic sensors flank watch they would probably reduce the charges from 2 to 1. they don't want her to have good flank watch because she's supposed to mainly be a stall sentinel

    I wonder if Riot would be brave enough to turn her gravnet into a sort of field that lasts until someone walks through it, upon which it gives a cue of some sort. Then they could buff her sonic sensors in other ways, but she wouldn't have the weakness of not being able to hold flank.

    how i would rework her is I would either change the net into something completely different or add one or two debuffs to the hit player (i like the idea of making them vounrable and pinging them so you can spray them through a wall or smoke and definitely know if you hit someone, but nearsight, armor strip, maybe some sort of screen pollution are also solid options), on top of that i'd make it so it stays active on the ground for let's say 2 seconds and if the hit player removes the net in less than 1 second the debuff and a slow would linger for another second
    i think her sonic sensors are OK but maybe add an option to recall them and tune them up so they aren't as easy to dodge
    her wall I would just make it so if you press the ability button a second time it makes the wall opaque
    her ult i think is mostly fine but i would like to see the window to fire get extended by 25%-30%

      I've given it a bit more thought and i like the idea of reworking the net into some sort of field that can be placed down and can be used to watch flank, as well as either making it so her wall doesn't break by itself unless you die or it can get picked up like gekko's creatures@@BoniValo

    Her trap should activate like cypher trip whenever someone passes , enemies dodge it with shift walk

    that question at the end, yes chamber mains did quit playing chamber when he got nerfed in patch 5.12 but also no, I saw some people on youtube saying they still main him even after the nerf, most of the chamber mains saying they quit playing him would be jett mains cuz he's the counterpart to jett when it comes down to oping and to this very day I am so pissed at every single goddamn jett main ruining chamber, the reason chamber was broken when he first got released is cuz jett mains were abusing his 2 tp anchors as a entry fragging method when his 2 tp anchors were meant to hold down a site hyper aggressively. I fucking hate the jett mains who switched over to chamber then dumped him and going back to playing as jett, that's why he got his 2 tp anchor removed. Yes while some chamber mains did quit playing him when he was broken asf, most of those players were jett mains because she got her dash nerf and jett and chamber are the only 2 agents who can op and get out easily since no other agents can op and get out as good as them

    Something that doesn’t make sense is that deadlock can’t pick her sound sensor back during the round I mean cypher can pick up his tripwire again after placed, killjoy can recall her turret and alarmbot and chamber as well can pick up his trip after placed so how come deadlock can’t recall her sound sensor during the round when it’s even the most useless among all the abilities of the other sentinel

    Also her trips, why we cant pick them up during the round like cypher's. Common dude they are not that strong, if they are not hitting your site you should be able to pick them up during the round to reposition them again

    I think her sonic censor should attach onto the closest agent that trips it and create the stun zone around that agent
    I also think wall needs to be purchased and gravnet goes to a 40 sec CD and forces people to shoot the floor or something
    Now deadlock can combo gravnet + sensor since the net forces them to make noise

    Sonic sensors should detect enemies crouching like how they do now, but the effect should be stronger if the enemy actually make noise.
    Grav net should do more like you said, like how is now It should at least have two charges. Deadlock should AT LEAST say how many people caught with how they are now, or there should be a sound for people when they get caught and not just when they try to break free
    Wall is a harder ability to balance, tho being able to walk on It would be cool

    Gravnet : make it unmovable for every​one Who walk to that blue area (no need to get caught)​, the one Who caught By gravnet will got reduce accrulate and suppress the moving skill (like jett​ dash neon slide raze satchel)
    Sonic sensor : reveal enemies Who shift or crorsh past it (have range limit for this part)​ and it concuss enemy Who make sound​ (no range limit on this part)
    Barrior : rework this ability
    (My personal need is to make it like wattson fence from apex legend)
    Ultimate : it's fine, just reduce Ultimate​point it need

    I think that gravnet should be the free ability adn rechargeable. It would honestly make more sense because of how OP the wall can be if in the right hands while the gravnet doesn't have much uses but it could be more useful if it was free and rechargeable.

      And it is generally more flexiable way to get info, like a KJ turret or Cypher cam. it just fits with those kinds of signature abilities from other sentinels

      If they made the wall a purchaseable and the gravnet her signature I would stop playing her immediately. The wall is insanely good, and it being free every round means I ALWAYS get use out of it.

    I was thinking about Deadlock recently too, and what makes her weak and I feel its totally fine for her to not be able to watch flank actively the same way cypher and KJ can. However, her kit is indeed super underwhelming and she does need some sort of distinguishing factor but still allow her to viable in her own way.
    My thought process for a rework started with the idea of having her be more reactive of a sentinel, and activating her abilities globally once placed. Here are my idea's on what such a rework might look like for her main abilities:
    - SONIC SENSOR: Her sensor could be way harder to detect, but give deadlock a notification (think Chamber's trip detecting before going off). Then she would be able to press interact at a distance to activate the stun. For balance's sake, testing would be needed to see if it is on a cooldown or if it breaks after 1 use, like it does now (the idea is that a) its harder to detect, b) its less easy to dodge with a single step, c) its more "reactive")
    - GRAV NET: Can also be pre-placed with right click at a lesser distance (think Kay/O or Raze left and right click) and also activated remotely (allowing the deadlock to maybe use the notification from the sound sensor or general audio). Note: obviously the duration of the net has already been increased since launch, so this would also help and probably needs few to no further changes.
    - BARRIER MESH: Can also be placed and remains until broken. HOWEVER, it can be deactivated on a small cooldown for deadlock and/or her teammates to walk past without having to destroy it (imagine like a cypher cage going up and down, like a gate). This allows her to block off a lane of the map and get passive intel whether or not anyone has broken the barrier while still allowing deadlock and her teammates to rotate past it if necessary (further distinguishing a different playstyle between her and sage without the need to copy/paste). The cooldown is there to stop deadlock from abusing the ability to run past the wall multiple times.
    As for the ult, with these changes I would probably leave it for now, but of course some sort of activateable version could be conceived. This seems a bit unnecessary and just more work for no reason. I don't play Deadlock much, so I don't know if the bullet count to get a kill with her ult is really that bad, but I def. agree with the pathing of the ult; this is so bad for the agent.

    This is my opinion (Don't take it seriously 🗿)
    1. Gravnet
    -Charge 1 → 2
    -Enemy will have a debuff recoil +75% (meaning you no longer shoot accurate) for 3 second if you get hit by gravnet
    -And take it off will increase by 0.5 second → 1 second
    -Radius area increase
    2.sonic sensor
    -If there more than 1 enemy within the radius, it will activate it
    -It will also cause enemy can't use ability (just like kay/o)
    3. The wall
    -Can rechagre able by 45 second
    -And the HP for small orb decrease by 50 HP and the big orb will decrease by 100 HP
    4. The ult
    -Now the HP will increase by 25%
    -Lastly now you can take out more than 1 player (for example you hit 3 enemy with your ult and that 3 enemy will rest in piece)
    -Radius increase
    -Point ult increase from 7 → 8

    if you place the sonic sensors on vertical angles (weird geometry throughout the map) you can set them up in a way that they will only activate or be detectable from very close ranges but will still stun the full range of a normally placed trip which avoids the issue of being able to bait them out with a step back. also they go through walls so you can even stop them from being shot in certain cases

    You can still wallboost with her wall but it takes time to learn every position, nonetheless it can be very helpful

    I wont lie this just feels like it would make deadlock feel and play like sage so I think it could be nice to make her have 2 maybe even 3 nets OR instead they could make her net while its already on the ground it could be a concuss field that way enemy's truly don't want to push it and if there hit by it are by it need to rely on them selves more and less on there team as there team does not want to get concussed.

    The grav net defo needs more love. It is so easy to counter. Maybe buff the time it takes to deactivate grav net to somewhere around like taking out cypher cam tag, another thing that might be good for deadlock is to have the grav net make a noise when someone is taking out the net, again, like cypher.

    Honestly deadlocks gravnet should either be timed and can’t get removed or has to be removed but is infinite duration, like sovas dart, or cyphers cam dart, they both have one option to be removed not both like deadlocks gravnet

    Here is what I would do to balance Deadlock. (there's a lot of text, you've been warned)
    For the Barrier Mesh, I think it would be nice if they removed the little nodes at each end of a wall and instead made the center of the wall the only thing that they can use to break. I understand turning the Barrier Mesh into a flat wall like Sage's sounds like a good idea, however I think the reason why it is an X shape is to make it easier to adapt to certain terrain so I would keep it an X shape.
    I also think it would be nice for the wall to recharge on a 45 second cooldown. Since the wall lasts for 30 seconds, when the wall goes down, attackers have a 15 second window to push through before another wall comes in. In addition, it would allow for temporary flank watch for the time the wall is up but still allow Cypher, KJ, and Chamber more dominant in flank watching
    For the Sonic Sensors, I think they're okay. They're not the best, but they can be deadly if used properly. However, I do think they could use a minor buff. The first thing I would do is to allow Deadlock to pick up her sensors mid-round so she could be more flexible when playing around her sensors. And if I were to solve the easy avoidance problem like you mentioned in the video, I would either make the detection range smaller, but keep the stun's AOE the same so it pops when they are in the middle of the "kill zone", make the stun pop faster (almost instant), or maybe both lol.
    The GravNet is very interesting to say the least. I thought about whether I should rework the ability or do figure out a solution to put the captured enemies at a greater disadvantage instead of just crouching. I'll share my rework idea and solution to the GravNet. My solution for the GravNet would be to make the enemies crosshair move on it's own like if you were stunned (just without the stunned visuals). I figure since if you're being forced to the ground, it would be hard for you to aim your gun up at the opposing enemies. This way, enemies who are caught will be put at a severe disadvantage in a gun fight.
    My rework idea won't really be able to stall multitudes of enemies like the current GravNet, but makes it much more deadly to the people who are caught from it. My idea is to turn the ability to be a disk like device (think of Cypher's cage) which you can activate (Again, like a Cypher cage). Once popped, it will spread like a Fade seize and the first enemy it catches is put into a cocoon (just like the ULT). The cocooned enemy will be trapped for lets say 7 seconds and will be trapped until either a teammate breaks them out or the 7 seconds runs out. And don't worry, it won't kill the trapped player, but they will be susceptible to gunfire. Also, just to make sure this isn't a free kill if you toss the device at a cornered enemy, there will be a delay before the device can be popped, giving the enemy the chance to break it. Enemies will be able to see the device once they get close, just like an alarm-bot, and be given the opportunity to break it
    I would do the same changes to the ULT like said in the video

      1. I thought about making the detection zone for the smaller while keeping the stun AOE the same as well, but maybe one addition I would suggest is to also remove the sound emitting from the trap. It would make sense if you think about the nature of her weapons too. They're sound-based weapons, so why would it emit sound by itself? This would also fit perfectly with the decreased detection zone as it induces this feeling of not being able to escape until its too late. Of course, with these changes, they would have to keep the trap as still being destructible, as this would offer at least some counter-play to an otherwise great piece of util.
      2. For the gravnet, I was thinking if it was possible for the devs to code it in such a way that the crosshair of the player aim down at a certain angle and maybe also lock the player's dpi ratio to a certain number. Similar to what you said, it's a gravity-based weapon, so it should also induce gravity-related effects, such as making the gun weigh more and thus be harder to not only raise up, but also induce that initial feeling of shock when hit by the increase in gravity, resulting in a sudden lowering of their gun/crosshair.

    I still main deadlock as well and have been able to make do even with her weakness dude to the fun play style she is not optimal but does work as a reactive agent and carefully placing her utility still gives me kill. But I do this she is worst right now and could use some good love to be better

    Sonic sensors have an easy fix, just make them go off instantly, im sorry but the fact that you have to make noise and still have time to shoot the sensors was the dumbest design ive ever seen, if they went off instantly l garenteed her pick rate would be higher
    Oh and them fucking shadownerfing the wall boost gutted her as well, like holy crap the fact that they took it out was so stupid

    No the wall changes is a really bad idea, like actually a BIG nerf it would make it need to touch walls to actually activate. But making it a rechargeable ability... for god's sake Riot she needs one, Deadlock can't even get her sensors back after placing them, it's the ONLY Sentinel who can't get it's traps back after buy phase...

    I think that other really big buff for deadlock would be just hard nerfing killjoy. Rn she is good on every map and almost a no brainer choice, so her nerf would automatically make other sentinels better.

      this is def true but killjoy has been nerfed so many times already that i don't see what they can do to her without completely killing her at this point. ult is 9 points, her utility is easier to see on the ground, she has range restrictions, etc.
      buffing deadlock is really the only way to make her in line with kj. riot is clearly scared of overbuffing agents though, especially sentinels because of chamber's dominance on release. but they have to stop being scared if deadlock is going to be viable at all for pro play or even ranked.
