Evolution is more defined and well rounded. Gravity is muddy
its the different EQ on both, GS has a lot more bass than EVO so it needs different amp EQ also, otherwise it will sound muddy. I use GS more than EVO i think it has a pretty good thickness in the bass and i boost the treble for the lead tones, both are really good pickups just different sounds and outputs
Great demo and nice playing. The Gravity Storm’s had more presence and a more in your face sound. The Evolutions were a bit tighter and sat in the mix really well. These are great sounding pickups. A winner no matter which one you use.
Las 2 suenan muy bien, no sé por cual decidirme.
Dificil hacer una comparacion, ambas pastillas tienen muy diferente eq, las gravity storm tienen mucho mas bajo que las evolution, y necesitan que el amp tenga diferente eq tambien, yo uso las GS y son excelentes pastillas, no les hicieron justicia!!, pero buen video de todas maneras gracias por el esfuerzo

Hace un tiempo, compré un set Gravity Storm para una RG Prestige… tomé la decisión prestando mucha atención a este video, que repasé varias veces, y no me equivoqué en nada… la guitarra, que ya era buenísima, mejoró la calidad de sonido notablemente… gracias por tomarse el trabajo de hacer este video !!
Me alegra mucho que el video te sirvió de ayuda, trato de aportar con un granito de arena en lo que este a mi alcance

Nice demo. I have the bridge GS and it has a lot of low end and low mids. It is one of those pickups where at least in my 90’s Fender American Standard it benefits with a pickup height tilted down in the low E side. It is canted almost as my stacked single coils are. I’m using all CTS 500k pots.

How did you get them to sound like such shit?..
The playing is very good but the sound you used was not good in my opinion hard to hear the difference in the pickups with the crunch distortion. Also what guitar are you playing?

Is the GS this noisy or is the line input/output volume too much for the recording?
This is the worst distorted sound ever. Learn to dial an amp before making these comparisons
