Don’t buy a new tire just yet. Try and repair it to save you a ton of money. In this video I show you a fix to a tires side wall that has worked for me. I hope you find this helpful and if so please share this with your friends.

So I tried this and my cut was too large and needed to sew the cut prior to patching. Just writing this for others that are in the same boat. Great video, thanks!
If you guys have some old tires, cut knobs and need from the side and fit it in your damaged tire, put inner tube and ride it, no problems what so ever for me, if cut is large, so yeah, sew it and then do my trick. I was riding like that for 6 months without any problems, so basically you doble your tire, but it will be heavy and a bit slower. For beed damage, I will try dual component glue and then I will place patch inside and after than piece of old tire for inner tube to spread pressure more..

thanks for the tip, I have a Continental GP4000s clincher tire (less than 50 miles from new) that has a side wall slash, I will get this radial tire patch kit to fix it.

Can I do this to a roadbike tires? I have tire today that pop up and side wall damage due to installation misalignment of wheel to frame then my caliper shoe hit the sidewall. My tire is new so I want to save it. Thank you for your video. Will try it.
If you can get the patch in there you should be able too. However being that you will be at much higher psi it would make me nervous for high speed turns.
@@RunBikeMike agree, replaced it with older but no damage spare tires for the meantime. I'll just wait f9r the replacement tires. Thanks for the response.
Can't seem to find that radial tire repair kit in my country. Is it expensive? Maybe a cheap tire would cost less?
About $6 is all and it comes with several patches

I see I don’t ever run that high of psi. I am normally running 22-23 psi.
