- In this video I show how to make Scale Drawings using graph paper and measurements of a room with some furnishings.
This can also be used as a supplemental resource for Eureka Grade 7 Mathematics: Module 1: Topic D: An Exercise in Creating Scale Drawings
Calculator I recommend for Math 7 - Pre-Algebra. It can do almost anything inside of Algebra 1 as well and is fairly inexpensive.

That's great that it can help! :) I've seen a lot of data showing that colleges are going back to Middle School Math concepts with application for specific fields. So that's actually very normal that you are looking at that concept.
Helpful video, thanks!
You're welcome!

Most welcome 😊
I draw stuff on graph paper all the time, I just don’t understand how the scaling works. Also I’m terrible with math.
Wow! hope the video helped. :)
Me allso
Eric Buffington , I am called Eric Jing! Also , cool vid!
I am good at math : )
Cool Test A+
Good job! :)
This is a video on makibg a scale drawing. I can see the value of using a grid that gets down to the half foot when makingva drawing to take to an architect for scaling, but I cant see the value of it when attempting a real scaled drawing of a floor plan. How does it take into account the fact that standard inside walls are usually 4 inches wide and plumbing walls are minimally 6 inches? Since the difference is 2 inches, wouldnt it be ideal if every square was 4 inches (2 inches for 1/2 square)?
When you are making true blueprints you would scale things up for sure.
My 8th teacher bought me here lmao
So glad you are here!
Ty this helped a lot
Glad it helped! :)
thankyouuuiuiii
You're welcome 😊
What scale do I need to win tic tac toe everytime?
I guess that would be a scale of '1' to 'always go first' :) lol
You lost me when you said the red door was going on the left side. Facing my monitor, I don't see how you got that. I thought the left side would be to the left of table.
