Gt may have been a little disanpointing but the ending and the jumpskip to goku jr. Era is heartwarming it shows that all the trials and tribulations actually made the earth a better place but that if theres an enemy to that peace there new wariors being born and trained to become the protectors of earth. This mixed with the Piccolo what if turned good early and having Piccolo be the spirit that appears loomings as caring mentor over the world plus he himself having a indirect descendent in Piccolo dansai. How is a descendent of cargo and not Piccolo makes it seem. Like some of the essence of Piccolo has reencarnated in to the world to keep protecting even from far away. The same principal applys to Goku Jr. But yeah this is more of a Piccolo story. In conclusion the gt ending is really emotional and using it in such a good manner as Plus Ultraman did for the special it gives a bew air to it. That matches the timeline he created mixed with the gt one.

Seems so cruel to leave them both dead that’s one thing that bugged me most about gt. Killing off 17 who has wife and kids, and we’re confirmed to have canonically been alive during the buu saga.
