When Jesus was asked about most important commandment he answered (o isreal our Lord God is only one ). He didn't say I am God and worship me by himself in the Bible. Jesus warned about other teaching and violations of the laws ( anyone who set aside one of the least commands and teaches other according will be called least in the kingdom of heaven). So god is one and Jesus is his messanger. God bless you
People speak of the prosperity gospel, but it is not found anywhere in God's Word. There is only one true Gospel, which is salvation by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. He did everything necessary for our salvation. He lived in order to fulfill the Law for us. He died to take the punishment for our sins. He rose again in order to conquer death. The Gospel of grace is the only saving Gospel. That's why Paul wrote to the Galatians, saying "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:6-9). This is how I know that the preachers of the prosperity Gospel are false prophets. It doesn't matter that they are successfully deceiving many to believe them. If an angel were to appear and endorse their message, it would surely be one of the fallen angels. As it says in verse 6 (above), Christians are "called" to faith "in the grace of Christ." This Gospel is also how we learn the true fear of God. David wrote in Psalm 130:3-4 "If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared." If it weren't for God's forgiveness, we could not love Him. The weight of guilt would be too heavy. The fear of punishment would be too terrifying to face. It is only by faith in the grace of God that we have in Christ Jesus that a man is able to seek the Father. Faith in Jesus makes a person an heir of God's kingdom, and -- because of faith -- the believer wants to love the Father by living according His commands. It is knowing His mercy and forgiveness that makes it *possible* to fear Him.

But he also said many things which contradicted it, and he never explained it clearly. So, in the end, I would say that he taught only law. And, even there, he taught the law in a very confused way. After the video was done, I looked at his site and saw that he's LDS. A weak confusion of law and gospel is what I'd expect from them.

Over and over again, they repeated their assertion that people should trust in their own obedience rather than what Christ did for them. By such teaching, a person can gain some measure of health and happiness in life. After all, God's Law *is* good. But death comes to all men, because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And, in the judgment, all who reject the Gospel (and teach others to do the same) will be cast into hell. "Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin" (Ro. 3:20). The Law is meant to show us our sin. Then, once the Law has done its work, a person can learn to trust in Christ rather than himself.
This touched me greatly! I have been trying to reconcile the gospel of grace and faith on the cross not works, being free from the law of sin, WITH obeying him and been righteous free from sinning. And I think the missing jigsaw is FEAR! . But can you help me ask your husband a question please. Would lack of this Fear but faith in the cross/jesus for eternal life and not works, still take you to heaven. How is it possible to have one without the other. Thank you! Salvation is by faith, not works. However, from James, faith without works is dead. The answer is...….the true indwelling of the Spirit results in good works. Good works ARE the evidence of a Spirit-filled child of God.
