I raise young birds from january until may so that they can be ready for the young bird season in august so i do not want birds that i cant race with and the wooden eggs drastically slow down the hens from laying their own eggs

Hi there. Can you explain why they are on wooden eggs and why you throw any eggs out that they lay? (New to this)

Long story short give them low protein mix. 14% or below
