Agree on chase bliss. They make some of the most well built products and best sounding products on the market. I used to do more shoegaze/dreamy stuff and their products worked well for me back then, but now I shifted to more of an indie/post punk/jangle pop sound that relies less on soundscapes. I also have adhered to more of a set it and forget it approach with pedals, the less knobs the better for me. I do still own and love my warped vinyl hifi but have kinda migrated to other companies simpler designs.
I look forward to these each week and normally have them playing in the background while I work. You, gents, are doing some terrific work making wonderful products that stoke creativity. I haven't had any Strymon issues with your pedals, but then I read the instructions, so I don't damage my gear. Count me paranoid in this area. Still amazed Zach sold the PRS and modded his dream R9. Keep up the great work!
The onward is probably the first CB pedal since the gravitas im interested in. But its mostly because of a new side hustle; im improving loops for public yoga classes 😊. The onward seems way more fun than the tc infinite
When the prototype overdrive is done, will it be manufactured with SMT parts? I feel like the SMT vs Through hole debate is the pedal version of nitro vs poly which is why I obviously feel like through hole parts just let the pedal breathe and ring out a little more.
All I know is. I’ve played every vintage Marshall I’ve ever wanted to play. Bluesbreaker. Jtm45. Super Leads and the PRS HDRX50 is the best Marshall type sound I’ve ever heard.
Glad I've found some guitar guys, this pod, that say the Epiphone Coronet USA isn't overpriced and is a cool. I think it looks badass, but all I keep hearing in forums and groups is "It's overpriced for what you get!"
Regrding the Strymon PSU, I dont understand. I have their Ojai and changeing from 9V up unintentionaly? No way Jose, the switch is tough. If people cant get organizef with their power routing, Strymon is NOT TO BE BLAMED for that. Stop it Zach
I’ve sold thousands of pedals and fielded countless emails about this. People tell me their unit isn’t switched off 9v and yet the power supplies are blowing 12v protection diodes. I don’t know what’s happening but I can’t in good conscience recommend their supplies for non digital pedals.
Fellas, I’d be careful how often you declare you don’t like competitor’s products in a public forum. It can come off petty. Josh Scott does a great job cheering on your industry. That feels very magnanimous. Just a heads up.
IMO these guys are objective and honest with their opinions and perspectives. I may not completely agree with everything they say but they do promote others products. There were several examples of that in this video. Their perspectives are why people come here to watch - so fellas, keep doing what you’re doing.
We feel like there is a place for opinions in this community. Every piece of gear coming out has it's place but that doesn't mean that it has to appeal to everyone, or that you even have to be interested in it. We're not being hateful or hurtful just voicing our opinions, being honest and open is how a community grows and evolves. This sort of feedback has helped us push our own products. Josh is a friend and I think what JHS does on YT is awesome, but if we tried to do that it would not be true to who we are. We have tastes, we have opinions, and we're not going to act like every piece of gear our there is appealing to everyone because it's not...and that's ok.

This is my favorite weekly podcast. Keep it up guys!
Greetings from sunny Valparaiso, Chile! Awesome podcast!

Love the show, watching from Colombia, South America!!
Congrats on the positron sales!!!! Super happy i was wrong lol
"Mo' Betta" is the origin of the name I think.
Yes, that!
The onward is probably the first CB pedal since the gravitas im interested in. But its mostly because of a new side hustle; im improving loops for public yoga classes 😊. The onward seems way more fun than the tc infinite
Try a Fryette PS-100, you'll thank me later.
agreed
The best attenuator on the market. I don’t know how it didn’t get mentioned when asking about attenuator vs master.

It will be made to breathe for you.
Completely agree on the Friedman product names, amazing products with names that sound like they were thought up by 17 year olds
A stay puff pedal could be cool.
That Friedman Plex is a different animal, I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss it, and especially over a PRS amp.

Muffaletta is indeed an amazing sandwich.
I have this information, that EVH are made in Czechia. Dunno why
What cameras and lighting was used for this?
Sony a7c and a variety of amaran lights
@@MythosPedals thx
Gday from Oz
Gibson also announced their Charlie Starr signature. To me that was way more exciting than the USA Epiphone.

I know he's busy and it doesn't have to happen every time but can you tell Josh that he needs to get Addison back on the jhs lives
Addison is no longer working at JHS full time.
"Mofeta" is "skunk" in Spanish...🤔

Gibson will do anything but build an affordable Les Paul double cut junior.
Define affordable
@@MythosPedals I meant double cut special. Right now they only offer custom shop. But $2,000 would be reasonable.

I'm tired. I think we're all tired. I just want people to be able to say what they want.
