I really enjoyed that thank you. I think it was testament to his acting ability how Michael made Geoff the character he was. Very clever, and prolific theatre actor too.
Gonna watch loads of these interviews as currently watching on drama channel. Michael was superb and it will be great to rewatch especially as originally I missed lots of episodes as I was a teenager being out n about 😂
Binge watching the whole lot for the first time. Pearce is a vile character and provides a brilliant contrast to the seriously decent Bayleaf, Hallam (fling excepted), excellently portrayed - which can't have been easy! He needed to be there so long for plot purposes. In reality, the rest of the watch and their officers would long ago have thumped him, hosed him, insisted on his transfer and much else besides....all of which wouldn't have made good long-term telly.
Me too. Since it has been shown on the U and Drama Channel, I watch it, when working from home and when I miss it, I catch up. It is better than Eastenders/Corrie. Poison Pearce is like the snitch at work who nobody trusts and who is treated like a child because no-one says anything in front of them.

Geoff was a great character, became more likeable as time went on… and let’s not forget his lovely dog Bruno.❤
Chop Chop!
I assumed he really was from the West Country. Good actor.

Now into s11 and Poison still there.
Still. It's none of my business, sir.
It's interesting to hear Michael talk in his natural London accent, instead of the West Country accent he uses on the show.
Sorry Sorry.....Leading Hand Geoffrey!
Tremendous actor, played Pearce very well indeed
