Mad props to Ms Anne Dudley for the piano on the ending of this song! My Precious Lord, the harmony of that part is Spirit-blowing (as opposed to merely mind-blowing)!!! The Art of Noise literally was one band that NEVER failed to bring the Heavenly noise!!! A band to be reckoned with eternally!!! 💯
It's all good, but just love the ending to this with the classy piano piece. Atmospheric.
This song brought me to life......had a boom box from my grandfather....first tape...and BOOM...made a best friend...he and rode bikes .. party every Friday.. learned how to break dance...all in the summer of 83....
Still crankin in 2020💯cheers
Neighbors be damned. Cranking this quarantine style from my old school big ass Bose speakers.
That transition from junk band rythm to classical piano says the most about the music they produced.
The best version.
What people missed is that this was a treat for record producers. This was never intended to be a hit.
I love The piano ending!
The wonders of a Fairlight synth with the very talented Anne behind it. Have loved them since discovering them in 1986.
Forever Summer of 1984,
all 6 diversions are masterpieces in they own right. brilliance
Classic Art of noise. Bought this as a 15 year old school boy back in 1984. Now 55 this still sounds brilliant as it did back then 😊
I LOVE THE PIANO ENDING ON THIS
Electronica is an amazingly underappreciated/rated genre, that singlehandedly gave house music international thump....
THE WHOLE INSTRUMENTAL IS GREAT!!! WHOEVER PLAYED THE HORN AND THE PIANO PLEASE TAKE A BOW!!! WELL DONE!!!
I bought the 'Who's Afraid Of?' album in 1986. Crucial to me.
Back in the days, other kids were laughing at me because I was listening to this song.
This year is the 40th year anniversary for this album _ they knew the music world needed something fresh and noisy back then so they bought the noise ( who's afraid of the art of noise? A classic masterpiece _
This was The Shit!!!💯
