@KodanshaComic - I doubt that Killy would [hypothetically] listen to this song in his mp3 player in the " blame! " world, however we can imagine that some of the darker villains would & that it would suit their listening style. At the end of the day, there is depth in that comic, there's depth in this song & there's depth in the type of fictional individual which would listen to this as their 'favorite', a sort of cyber-villain, so then 'we' which can empathize, sympathize and imagine.. try to place ourselves in the shoes of that fictional cyber-villain listening to this song, in the blame! world (or even in this world... although not really.. as most people here are quite 'human', and the only person which would have this as their favorite song, would either be a mood-swing heavy 18 year old smoking opium, or... something like that. Returning to the previous point, there is 'depth' which is the key interesting part in that comic & these type of songs, for most of us. I bet the people which have only played Vivaldi & Mozart all their life with a halo around their head, well... some of them may regret that activity, when they peek into this sort of 'depth' like: " Interesting, chaotic, uplifting, energetic, dark " Etc. Etc. rather than just " melodic halo all the time ", right? As a person which doesn't believe in good & evil as in " two worlds ", or " heaven and hell ", then this darkness isn't 'scary' as there's no " hell " in it, which doesn't exist. There's no spiritual heaven & hell、 there's only hundreds of types of feelings & hundreds of types of personalites and so on.. ーー So, while this song is dark & the blame! comic & villains within it are dark, the type of people which love this song or the type of people which would be one of those cyber-villains within the blame! world, is heavily centered around personality, drives, emotions & feelings. it's not centered around any " spiritual hell " or " spiritual darkness ". The cyber-villain in " blame! " listening to this song (hypothetically) has nothing 'hell-ish' about him/her. The 18 year old with mood-swings which loves this song as their favorite, has nothing 'hell-ish' about him/her, either... There's varying degrees of darkness & wickedness although it's actually all just personality, feelings and a sort of 'culture' like the atmosphere or place. Then there's varying degrees of 'brightness' like happy people, friendly people, flock-oriented people rather than loner / lone-wolfer, however again that's all feelings and personality and not any connection to a type of " above hell " or " above hell-ness " or " salvation-ness " or anything like that. The people which talk about the 'gifts' of salvation are scammers / hoaxsters, which are feeding on fear, and causing people to feel afraid.. about fiction. It should be illegal! And then they conveniently find all sorts of 'dark people' and 'dark culture' to try to validate their belief in a " hell " which is the opposite of salvation. It's all hoaxsters & ridiculous. Instead of the terminology " heaven & hell " to be predatory and exploitative towards fear (via fiction)、 it's probably better to use more neutral terms、 such as " second place " or " second world ". 。 。 。
True, but it is so much easier to just use an umbrella term that covers all sub gernes. Like saying "my fave metal band" instead of "highly specific whatever metal band". You are totally right though.

their logo looks like a backwards wolfshook
What movie are the quotes in the song from?
I think it's from the Fifth Element
