Just bought one 😊 Can I ask does your mode button move around ? When your finger is on the button its like it has some play. I’ve only had olight touches and everything is solid. I’m thinking I have a faulty one 😢 For £300 I’m not impressed
What they should do is include a red laser pointer and a green laser pointer. I have a large collection of Nitecore lights and I think my favorite is the tm28 tiny monster.
This is definitely a step in the right direction. However, I think it would be better to focus on creating a good optic for LEP. Imagine an optic that would give an LEP that laser range but yet a sick flood light just from the LEP alone. Someone is going to have to put in a lot of R & D to try to create a good optic that would really utilize this new technology to its fullest potential. Hats off to Nitecore for trying something new in this sense. Great video as always Charles.
a good flashlight from nitecore but i prefer a real lep thrower with more lumens with bigger lens or a bigger flashlight like this with leds all around of lep emmitter. nice video again.
I am not into the LAP lights either I just don’t see the purpose of them but if I did than I would have a use for one. I do wonder what the range of the laser is approximately. In my profession SAR I can’t think of a purpose of one at this time. Another very nice review, Thanks
Hello, I am one of the Nightcare collectors in Iran... I wanted to make my request as a small member of the Nightcare family about the p35i flashlight. This flashlight is great, I even covered 2 kilometers with it in spot mode, but the biggest problem of p35i is the lack of strobe mode in the end cap of the flashlight. It should have a strobe button, just like the i4000r cap, which has strobe mode and charging port in the end cap of the flashlight. ... However, when the p35i has this feature (strobe), it can only be used with the remote control of the gun, and this is a big weakness. I hope that Knightaker engineers will design a new cover for the p35i that has both a strobe button and a charging port. remove it and prepare it as an update, thank you
I like this flashlight but I don't like the charging port on the tail. And I need the laser must at least reaching 3,000 metters and the floods don't need to be 3,000 lumens is ok just to save the run times.
Charles, After years in Industrial Security near Rural properties, I can easily see this Proto would be a tremendous Search and Rescue light along in serious Urban security fields!
It’s great now that they have the two combined for flood and throw..lep and led.. I’ve been using them combined for a long time before they unified the design. I wonder how lep would fan out to spill with a TIR lens in front of the phosphor disc
LEP are hot spot only no spill and is why I am not a fan of them. A good, dedicated thrower using a XHP35 HI or SBT90.2 LED is much better in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
Still struggling with LEP. With such a narrow beam you aren't going to find anything unless you know where it is already. The beam could pass a foot away without you seeing what you are looking for.
@@CharlesBridgTec Hey thanks so much it worked for me. The shape of this light is a bid odd but I can't resist a good LEP and an led to boot. I think Nitecore builds good lights I have a handful of them they are a little pricey but quality.
