Nice work mate ...how you finding the maschine ....I thought long and hard about getting one as I love my maschine mrk 2 ...but opted for an Mc 707 to go with my tr8s and other Roland gear and I love it ...but still like the look of the maschine
Thanks! I really enjoy it. I think that the workflow is excellent and quick and its almost doesn't really feel like you are connected to a computer. I love the idea of having all the power of vsts in a tactile experience and that is the main reason I bought it. I don't think however that its a complete daw to finish tracks in, and more for sketching some ideas and moving to Ableton Live for arrangement. You can of course do that on the Maschine as well, but Live is more more powerful and convenient at least from the arrangement perspective. You say you have MK2 plus 2 Roland flagship gears that are really powerful (I actually wanted to get those as well, but I try to control my GAS haha 😅), so in my opinion maybe you don't really need to invest in the MK3. It mainly depends on your purpose and where is your focus I guess. I think that it might even just come in the way of your other gears and their workflow. You can always get the amazing sounds of NI tools as vsts, so you are not really missing out on that. Bottom line I would highly recommend it in general, and specially for someone who has little gear, but it sounds to me that you already have some great toys that can keep you busy for long time :) Hope this is helpful and not more confusing lol
You're the man!
