WARNING for all users of Infento 2.0. Be very careful when connecting the battery to the docking station. Our battery connector was not screwed at all and shorted and sparked when inserted into the dock. When I disassembed the battery, I found that the connector was not screwed at all as there were any screws. I recommend at first try to push the connector on the battery to make sure it is screwed in, before connecting.

(All of the following applies to the big 4000 mAh battery of the ultimate kit/advanced motor upgrade. I have no experience with the smaller battery.)
I disassembled my battery as well, but mostly out of curiosity. The small PCB with the 6-pin-connector should be secured on the inside by two short screws on each side. So if they were missing, this is definitely an assembly error.
I had another problem with my battery though. I was unable to charge it after reassembling it. I figured out there is a small fuse on the positive (red) wire coming out at the back of the charge port, under some black shrink wrap. This fuse prevents you (or your kids) from getting shocked if you were to touch both poles of the charge port at the same time (Jan almost does this at 08:42), or protect the battery if you were to plug in a stronger charger by mistake (for example one from a laptop). But the fuse blows in the process, and you can't charge afterwards without either bridging or replacing the fuse. I guess I must have mistakenly touched it while disassembling.
I find this a bit of an oversight from Infento. I get it, it's a fairly simple and cheap solution compared to some kind of protection board, and to their credit, the charge port is covered when the battery is the docking station, and only gets exposed if you take it out to charge. But it seems like it is fairly easy to short the charge port by mistake when handling the battery, and then the fuse needs to be replaced, and I guess the minority of their customers will have the skills to do themselves.
The fuse is a "littelfuse pico fuse" rated for 7A. I'm pretty sure it's this exact part:

As of now, I just desoldered the fuse and bridged the gap with some extra wire, and put some electrical tape over the port. Battery still fits into the dock with the tape, no problem.
The battery pack itself used in my battery is this one, produced by A&S power in Shenzhen, China:

Awesome information! This fuse looks like a late fix.
Just put replacement fuses into my Ali shopping Cart :-)
I haven't yet figured out what that PCB is really good for except for keeping the female blade terminals in place. There is a black electronic component soldered onto it where the charger's cables go in, but this can not be the BMS. Any idea?
