I'm very tempted to try that Superbell coral sun. I don't have good success with calibrachoas but those are so pretty!
Im giving them another try this year. We will see how they do.
Did you remember the fertilizer for the red, white & blue pot? The pots look great 👍
I did..thank you
I did..thanks😃😃
nice flowers
Hello L G. Your such a pleasure to watch so happy and so strong picking up those pots they will look stunning. It’s 7am in U K it’s Maxine 82 yrs young and still gardening I did 8 different sizes of pots yesterday But had a little help from my husband 86yrs haha to place them love your garden centre would love to walk around 😊
That is so awesome and inspiring!!!
How long after planting should we start fertilizing.? You’re always so fun to watch, thanks for always being so upbeat.
I start in with the miracle grow 2 weeks later. I'm impatient, I want my beauty now. Lol.
Happy Mother's Day 💓
One more question about the fertilizer granules. You said to only do the top since that’s where the roots are, if it lasts 6 months, wouldn’t the roots reach the bottom of the pot by then?
I don't think any fertilizer lasts 6 months in a pot. The more you water it, it rains, and the plants grow, they use all that fertilizer up and need to be re-fed so to speak. By the time your plant roots are on the bottom of the pot, that fertilizer is long gone. If the fertilizer is coated in a little plastic ball don't be fooled by those little plastic pellets, they remain after the fertilizer has been released.
Your technique of planting your tags is brilliant!
Sometimes it's just the little things..lol
Can you use holly tone in flower pots?
I've never done it, so I don't know.
Why are you putting plastic in the pot and what zone is the far south suburbs?
I am using the plastic as a barrier between the dirt and the terra cotta pot so help with moisture loss. And the far south suburbs of what?
Thank you! Quick question - How long do I give my butterfly bushes before I dig them out and replace them? I think the arctic blast got them. I’m in zone 6a in NH and my hardy hibiscus are already coming up… butterfly bushes… no signs of life.
Maybe wait 1-2 more weeks, but they are probably done..I'm in zone 5 & mine are just starting to show, so I will cut them back this week. Hate it when I loose plants.....😞
@@gardeningTLC thank you!
Please try to be a teacher & not a comedian. Otherwise, a good site to learn.
Sure. But I will just be me...
I just see a person doing what they truly love doing.
Constructive criticism is welcomed, but that's not what you offered.
And who are you to try and tell someone what to do with their own channel? 😂 I'd have said the only joke occuring here is you, but she's a much nicer person than I am. Have a wonderful Spring!
