You rock dude, big time. You are a key part of turning my frustration of a year of not doing consistent bindings alone to actually work on it, gerbil and keychain with all my yoyo's. The other element is strings, that open the door for it, I had a topyo free string and it established what I need, stringwise, to keep up the learning curve. I've also got burned with shipping costs, inconsistent quality and the weather here, big factor on which ones are best suited. I had no idea part of the problem was bad strings, for me, and bad keeping of torsion I was doing. Now I can play with any string, but no struggle means more flow. So I'm gonna start making my own for an optimal fit, not "strings attached" to vendors anymore. The owner of Zipline kinda inspired with what he told me. Your video now is pure gold, direct and literal, no second guessing. Your technique being normal makes it ideal to learn from, unlike champions that manage to mask how terrible yoyo's they're playing with beacuse they need to sell them and making it impossible to learn from. Me on the other hand, I just wanna have fun with a super hard technical skill, is that so much to ask for? Practice takes time, but what you practice makes all the difference at the end. Keep it up! And thanks man.
Hi bro, whenever I throw breakaway using the professional whip like motion like how u do my yoyo spins for about 10 seconds. Please can u try help me! I use a new shutter. Thanks!
@@PulseDravo In order to help, I’m going to need to clarify some details. Are you talking normal break away or horizontal break away? They have quite different techniques. If it’s horizontal, I’ll be posting a video about how to do that as part 2 of this one. If it is vertical, I can probably help from the comments. I don’t know what you mean by “professional whip like motion.” My best guess is that you are meaning the technique to throw a breakaway but I am not sure. If that is what you meant, really focus on a straight throw (or if horizontal a horizontal throw). Power/spin time will come with practice and good technique. The yo-yo spinning 10 seconds is throwing me off a bit. Does the yo-yo sound right when you throw it or does the bearing sound bad (signs of bad bearing is the yo-yo playing response when it shouldn’t, possible clicks while the yo-yo is spinning, or absolutely no sound coming from the yo-yo/bearing)? If it does, that is probably your main issue, if not take a look at your technique and power of your throw. I know that was a lot of stuff but I hope it helps. If you are still having issues feel free to clarify questions or ask more questions. If you want to, you could record a video of you trying it, put it unlisted on UA-cam, and send me a link.
@@RicksTricks from someone who's been throwing for at least 15 years now that definitely a good way to describe it. I've just found your channel and love it bro tbh. You've got a new fan now lol. How long have you been yoyoing?
@@ShepardOfficial I know and I apologize for the delay. It is currently on the editing timeline but school has completely taken over my life. It is my highest video priority right now and I hope to have it out soon.
@@YOJAYO Some of that is definitely technique I need to work on. Another part of it is that I had almost no space in my room when I was recording it so I had to throw it weird.
I think this dude definitely still did a good job. There definitely wasn't much of angle to his throw to me. Some horizontal tricks are easier with a slight "angle" also.

@@RicksTricks no worries, I work full time and understand that there's not enough time in the day lol thanks for the update!
You need to fix your horizontal. It looks mor vertical than it looks horizontal 😊
