In animation I enjoy Hopper's Death (A Bug's Life) over the top in PIXAR movies.
Top 10 Shakira songs is on my yt channel
Thanos in Avengers:Endgame,Steppenwolf in Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League and Kim Jong Un in The Interview
Why does it say that the comment was made 3 days ago despite the video made 20 mimutes ago?
RULE OF THUMB: When a villain dies, make it as over the top and over dramatic as possible.
Well ofc. Otherwise it would be boring lol
is that me dying!
AGREED!
That and they have to create as much chaos as possible before bitting the dust ha
The level of over-the-topness should be proportionate to the level of the villain.
Video Name: "Top Villain Deaths"
Video Picture of Kim Jun Un: *Like*
It's also Agent Woo from the MCU!
Hell ya
No, that's Jim.
Why is the " You're fired" scene from True Lies not here? Such an epic and over the top
We've used it countless times, but yeah a total classic.
producer: we need a good scene to kill the villain!
special effects designer: lets blow up the freaking 7 mile bridge, in real life
That's the one I came here for.
that was also my first thought. but they already have two scenes of dudes being shot away by rockets in the list i guess
In the original 'Indiana Jones' movie, the Nazis' death was absolutely terrifying but impressive.
The death of the big Arab guy with the scimitar, near the middle of the movie was hilarious. That scene was concocted by Spielberg and Harrison Ford because Ford had come down with dysentery and was sicker than hell. He suggested to Spielberg that he, just, pull out his gun and shoot the guy. That was the reason for the disgusted look on his face.
Gotta love Industrial Light and Magic. They were the kings back in the 80s and 90s.
WW2 is deadlier! Allies beats Axis, USA wins Nazi Germany
yep gave me nightmares
The death at the end of last crusade where the guy just kinda aged though.
What about the bad guy from the first Naked Gun who falls off the top of a baseball stadium, slams onto the ground, gets run over by a bus, then flattened by a steamroller, and finally trampled by a marching band?
Oh god! That's so horrible! My father went the same way!

Steppenwolf death scene in Synder Cut was a Brutality !!!!!
That cut was literally 1000x better. Whedon should feel like an embarrassed clown. I'd crawl under a rock if I got owned that hard.
@@nukiesduke6868 Yh, it’s not like Joss Whedon doesn’t have Age Of Ultron under his belt or anything
@@nukiesduke6868 Both versions are equally bad for different reasons.
And glorious
@@neutralman9124 Stfu Jack Snyder Justice Leauge was EPIC 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 9/10
Most of the villain deaths in Riki-Oh: The Story of Riki are over the top and hilarious.
No doubt!
Infinity war: axe to the chest.
Thanos: you should've gone for the head
Audience: go for the arm!!!!
Endgame: why not both?
🤣
So Hitler's death in Inglorious Bastards wasn't over the top????? The dude was trapped in a burning movie theater and literally took like a thousand rounds to the face...
That scene from Pirates of the Caribbean was pure artistry! His final attempt at dignity if the face of disaster was, if not redeeming, at least showed a courage that I found surprisingly touching. Still glad he was dead, but wow!
You are so right.
Hitler's death in Inglorious Basterds. That was quite over-the-top.
Agree. Unfortunately it was all fiction 😢
Idiots couldn't kill him in real life so they imagined themselves killing him in movies lol
@@alessandrodamiani1867 don’t be sad
I'd say it was totally in proportion
@@alessandrodamiani1867 The group known as "the basterds" were actually called "the devils brigade" (I think) they really existed. But the story Obviously was barely connected to reality.
DCEU Zod's death was controversial.
MCU Thanos' death was satisfying.
I wonder why Zod's death was so controversial at times, but forget, been a while but Zod and two other who served under him were killed by Superman by Kryptonite, Excuted.
Reason was in the original comic they had escaped the phantom zone landed on another earth with a different colored sun, still were more powerful then the people of the planet.
Ruled with a iron fist then got bored and killed every single being on the planet for amusement.
Was discovered before Krypton was destroyed the three had been sentenced to be excuted, Super carried it out.
What other choice, he takes them back to earth to stand trail sorry may not work due to laws and loop holes, two yellow sun bad very bad VERY BAD!!
Before he killed them he said Quote. you are worse then Nazis.
Zod's death was controversial because whatever thought experiment was to be served through this story thread, Superman was not the appropriate character to do it.
Thanos' death was satisfying because how else can one feel towards retribution at a man who committed genocide on a cosmic scale under the delusion of doing it for the Greater Good.
(The Greater Good!)
In fact, Thanos died twice in Endgame because ThanosPrime was already a weak and broken man after finishing his goal, so his quick end wasn't much of a catharsis. They brought 2014-Thanos to the main timeline because he was in his physical prime and to reveal that his "good intentions" were actually a mask for his arrogance, megalomania, and aspirations to be worshipped as a god, seeing him go down is much more satisfying.
Cause WatchMojo sucks at making lists.
Thanos death was sad because he was the true hero. He was only trying to keep the Universe going, something nobody else cares about.
Oh well. A heros never appreciated until they are dead and everyone fu*ks themselves over like he predicted.
@@titanhades4331 Thanos also made himself the villain by not trying to think of a better way to protect the universe by oh I don't know MAKING THE RESOURCES INFINITE. Seriously has Thanos ever heard of population rebound since a couple of decades later the population doubles up. Seriously I think of the long run better than Thanos and I'm a mere human.
Nobody forgets the Death of Steppenwolf in the movie of Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League is the coolest and brutality death ever in all the time
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro your comments are all over this section lmfao
Love you picks watchmojo
Great video mojo
I'm a huge fan of superman and I honestly loved man of steel. I think the dark tone actually works for superman when done right. Other than BVS dawn of justice, zack snyder has done superman right.
I completely agree
After the Snyder Cut, I definitely agreed with you.
It's also not the first time he's killed
OG superman returns to truck stop for revenge and also drops zod down a bottomless pit, yet everyone claims OG superman was soft
@@heartless604Christopher Reeves version of Superman also dropped his Luthor created evil clone down the chimney of a nuclear power plant and into a reactor. That guy's death created so much energy, the plant had to command everybody in the city to turn on every possible light to prevent an overload.
The Death of Steppenwolf in Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League and The Death of Thanos in Avengers:Endgame they are the most awesome and satisfying deaths ever of Superheroes
You again...
Snyder Cut who
Thanos wasn't satisfying. It was sad. He was the real hero in it all.
Steppenwolf’s death was probably my favorite part of the entire film
@@titanhades4331 You're sociopathic.

“Kick-Ass: this film is much like Kingsman” gee I wonder if they had the same writing team and director...

"How many villains can say they barfed after meeting their end after getting impaled by a prosthetic knife leg"?
If someone can say anything that after dying, I'd be impressed.
Would love to see a list on the most brutal deaths done to nameless or minor henchmen or random background characters. Would be curious to see what your findings are both in movies/anime/tv/etc.
One of the henchman from Under Siege 2 goes under the front of the train, and you see him get stuck before fully going under, feet first, implying that his legs were getting grinded up.
This is one of my personal favorites, I would love to see a new version of this list
I don’t know why I’m here but thank you for the recommendations 🙌🏾
John Travolta's villain from Broken Arrow sneering at the cruise missile heading straight for him while the audience watches from the missile's point of view was pretty over the top.
If they ever make a live action Southpark movie, Sean Bean would have to play Kenny. Poor guy dies horribly in almost everything he's in.
thanks for the extra context.
The Nazis death is the terrifying and horrible deaths ever in the universe of Indiana Jones when we can see the villain Nazis using a ancient artifact in the movie but the spirits kill the Nazis in the scenes
What about the death scene froma Indy movie where a dude locked in a cage and sent down into lava and was still alive until another did dude something to the other dude's heart which was still beating?
Beaux Guidry Falling into Lava is very quick
I guess I hhad it backwards, but the dude in the cage went in without his heart and it was still beating.
thank you, I missed that.
great list, but have you seen Shoot Em Up?
Amazing
Thanos' and General Zod's deaths were awesome and not over the top
Yeah wtf were they doing here
Yeah, I feel like WatchMojo are just saying that because their comic book movies.
The death of Bond villain Dr. Kananga in “Live and Let Die”....That was absolutely over the top!!!
One of the greatest ads I have ever seen was a show that shows Sean Beans face and says "He lives". Loved it.
Ok in man of steel Superman didn’t have a choice Zoe was going to kill people
I agree. Superman will kill if it means saving people.
Thank you
He could’ve just flown up
Still doesn't mean it wouldn't have been traumatizing for him. It literally goes against everything he stands for.
@@Shade01982 and it was why else would he be screaming?
Where is Will Ferrell in the first Austin Powers? Severely burned, shot in the arm, then shot again, only for us to find out this is the SECOND time (time travel shenanigans) that this has happened to him when he falls down a cliff and breaks both his legs in The Spy Who Shagged Me
I think this list contains only main villains, not their minions.
"Get off my plane!" Harrison Ford to the villain near the end of Air Force One.
The Death of Frank D’Amico is the craziest, funniest and hilarious death ever in the movie of Kick Ass when we can see the superhero Kick Ass killing the villain with a rocket launcher
I just knew that Emil Antonowsky's death in RoboCop had to make this list. Ray Wise's reaction to Emil's deformity was priceless.
The Death of Hopper the grasshopper is the darkest and horrible death in all the time in the movie of A Bug’s Life when we can see the villain insect Hopper dying eaten by some chicks in the nest
Superman killing Zod wasn't something very dramatic but one of the best moments of the movie where Superman had to break his own codes and morals to save the race which in reality doesn't deserve Superman but need him. But on the other hand, Superman loves mankind so much that he thinks they deserve him and need him.
In Zack Snyder's Justice League, Wonder Woman killing Steppenwolf shows *only a God can kill a god* .
Cool video
The Death of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic universe is very satisfying, horrible and awesome in all the time in the universe of Marvel when we can see Thanos defeat and turning into the blip
Beckket's death scence from the *pirates to the Caribbean* was the best and the most dramatic!🔥 agree?
Is anyone gonna talk about how the family in the man of steal could just duck under the beam
The death of the villain Richmond Valentine in the movie of Kingsman:The Secret Service is the coolest and hilarious death moment ever in all the time
Lord Almighty, how many times did you comment?? I swear I scrolled by at least 15 😅 Well, it's good to be opinionated, I suppose.
@@VG02 The death of the Redhead in the second movie?
I think one death that is rather forgotten is found in the movie Raising Arizona, where poor Nicholas Cage is trying to fend off a villain, Leonard Smalls, and accidently rips out the pins of villain's grenades.
They say superman would never kill anyone, but what about all the people that get killed when he's fighting the villains? I think he considered killing the villain better than letting a family die. That honestly makes more sense.
I’m being honest, at the end of the interview I was like “oh no the real Kim jong un is not going to like this”😰
I’m glad ‘The Professional’s’ end death was added. It always has stuck with me as being dramatic and a great climax to the movie itself. I remember when I saw it the first time I was, excuse the pun, *blown away* by it.
Video Idea: Top 10 Times Mark Walhberg Went Beast Mode.
006's death was certainly a CRUCHING one.
"He who must not be named" not on the list?!? the movie version of Voldemort's death was so much more dramatic than the book version
I could not disagree more. Voldemort’s great fear was death and being the same as everyone else. To have his corpse just one more in a pile of the dead after his failed war is the worst thing that could’ve happened to him. His death was memorable and unique in the movie.
we all know over the top villain deaths is just another name for the coolest villain deaths
I like the dark take of the DC movies but I just wish they figured out story telling better.
Stavros death in Double Team. Being pounced by a tiger while standing (and thus detonating) a land mine. It does not get more over the top than this.
Is very funny and hilarious in the movie of The Interview when we can see Jimmy Woo as Kim Jong-un in the movie ending
Yes, you mentioned Total Recall and Schwarzenegger villains, but True Lies definitely deserved a mention.
The more villainous the villain is, the more graphic their death has to be.
Let us not forget John Travolta's death in the wholly forgettable Battlefield Earth.
This is extra, extra, extra death.
Fun fact: the #13 death location was not a saellite, but an actual radiotelescope in South America. It was in need of extensive refitting and they could not secure money to do it before, as depicted in the movie, the wave guide collapsed into the dish.
The death of Steve Handley in the horror movie of The Cabin in the woods is the terrifying and horrifying death ever in the movie when we can see the villain Steven Handley devoured by a sea creature
I remember seeing Big Trouble In Little China on analogue tv when teletext was a thing, and having subtitles on - for Thunder’s death it was “Grunt / Wheeze / Wheeze / Grunt / Grunt” repeating for about a minute ^^’
There’s a flaw with the whole “ The same matter cannot occupy the same space”: The human body is constantly replacing the matter that it’s made up of.
DCEU the death of Emperor Zorg is very controversy
MCU the death of Thanos is very satisfying and awesome
Thanks is not dead
My favorite Over the Top Villain Death is James Savoy from Transformers: Age of Extinction
So Satisfying
100 percent agree with this list.
Craig Bierko's demise at the end of THE LONG KISS GOODNIGHT is pretty outrageous, too. He lands on top of a truck primed to become a thermal bomb...after falling out of a helicopter when he was shot by Geena Davis!
Just mentioned that one myself.
All these villains are badasses
Yep also like your profile picture and name Eddie Brock venom is the shit I am beyond happy that he is the new god of the symbiotes.
I love “The Interview” one of my fav movies, I love movies where I can laugh my ass off 😂 always on the mood for comedies, and kind :)
The interview was such a funny movie
alan rickman's death in die hard was over the top also charles bronson killls the bad guy in death wish 3 with a rocket launcher
The Deaths of Nazis is the most terrifying and scariest death ever in the universe of Indiana Jones when we can see the villain with Nazis opening the portal and we can see spirits killing Nazis melting their bodies
ALSO some of the most satisfying deaths. I was happy to see every one of those villains go HORRIBLY.
The death at the end Kiss of the Dragon was an interesting one as well.
You forgot Ricardo Montalban in The Naked Gun. That was hilarious!
I want a prequel series for Con Air about the convicts. Their criminal exploits leading up to their capture. Someone get on that
The real number 1 in this list is Steppenwolf killing Amber Heard as Mera in the scenes in the movie is the coolest and awesome death villain ever
I would like to make you a suggestion: The Top 20 most satisfying movie villain deaths of all time! :)
hi mojo
"While not specifically made for children"............Yeah no shit, i saw that face melting scene when i was a kid, it scared the crap out of me, lol
Gremlins scared me when I was a kid.
You should do a list of the most evil characters in movie and I mean pure evil not like vader more like palpatine
lol Beckett there going "This is fine."
For Sean Beans character, that was a radio telescope that skewered him not a spy sat. Said Radio telescope fell apart last year and supposedly Mr. Bean was asked how he felt about it. LOL
Lol Jimmy Woo as kim jong un🤣🤣
The “ at world’s end” one really wasn’t that over the top
The death of the villain from Game Night it’s pretty awesome as well!
I for sure would've thought that the villains death in True Lies would be on this list. "You're fired!"
I hope the new movie of Mortal Kombat 2021 given us the coolest, awesome and violent death villain in all the time in the film
I agree
In the movie of Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League we can see Wonder Woman killing Steppenwolf in the final battle cutting off his head given us the brutality and darkest death ever of Steppenwolf
I feel that even Watchmojo doesn’t even understand why Superman killed Zod, even Thanos first dumb death wasn’t that bad, so what do you want? Superman let go of the Zod just so Zod simply swing his head right and turn the civilians to fried meat from Martins BBQ (not making fun of Martins BBQ) and just punch out Zod just to realize he failed to save a family which was in front of him? Yeah if I was a hero, I prefer kill the villain and have that failure that I killed someone but the family is safe over not killing him and the family dying because I couldn’t save them.
KickAss was Awesome

Sean Bean: Does my character die?

#17 is my jam!!! I love that movie!!! My favorite part in the first movie is when all of the henchmen and bunker party goers (then all of the other people with implants) have their heads explode while the 1812 overture plays!!!
That scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark gave me nightmares as a kid when I saw it for the first time
You should have included the ending scene in the movie " The Loser's"! That was history in the making!
God damn... thinking back how crazy Con Air was.
That grenade launcher scene was a nice touch
