There is a assumption here that Sweden didn´t have nuclear weapons... And that assumption is kind of sort of true, but in practical reality not.
In 2012 Sweden sent a claimed 3kg of weapons grade plutonium to USA for destruction. If 3kg is the actual amount ... we will never know.
There is plenty of document suggesting something else. The working theory is that the bomb was never assembled. But the trigure and plutonium was never in the same room but it could be assembled in matter of hours if not minutes if the need was met.
This was to ensure that Sweden got plenty of help from USA in case of a war. The logic was simple. If Sweden didn´t get the help needed from USA, we would simply nuke S:t Petersbug/Leningrad. The idea was that because Sweden presumably didn´t have a nuke, it must have been someone else.
How did Sweden know the nuke would work with out a test blast. Well, simple. Sweden had Spies in USA, UK and USSR. And really the concept of a Plutonium bomb was quite well established. So far is .. well not that controversial.
There is a bit more controversial. Test explosives. While its well known that Sweden collected 100 of tons of explosives to simulate a nuclear blast. There might been one or even a few of those experiment that might have been a real blast. Those explosives was carried out in caves deep under ground so no radiation would ever escape hence, its basically impossible with out digging into the cave to know if it was nuclear or not.
One of the most common argument at the time was that the blast was to small to be a nuclear blast. The issue with that is that it might been a sub yeald blast, or even a programmable yeald blast.

The truth is, in 70 years of running several nuclear power plants, 3kg is.... Probably not the amount produced in total.
Could we assemble one, yes, of course, any nation with our know how (and this is know how you can literally google, knowledge that a lot of people have these days) and access to immediate production could. Do we have one? Well that's for some to know and others wonder.

It's well known that the Viggen was originally planned to be a nuclear strike capable jet, and that the artillery piece Bandkanonvagn 1 was to be able to fire nuclear shells, but the program was, supposedly, scrapped after Sweden ratified the non-proliferation agreement in 1968.

If you want to check out swedish mountain rooms I'd highly recommend Aeroseum in Gothenburg. An air force base in the mountains with cold war exhibits.

The closest we have come an Invasion of Western Europe and Sweden was 1981 during first the Zapad-81 Exercise which was simulating a massive attack on West.
And during Whichkey on the rocks right after.
Here is the link to the SVT made Documentary of the U-137 with english subtitles.

What is often forgotten is that the Zapad-81 Exercise simulated the attack on West by attacks towards Sweden, Especially Karlskrona where Swedens Navy is mostly located together with Gothenburg and Muskö base outside Stockholm.
    Gotland and Öland/Oskarshamn.
All places which are important to take control of early if you want to try an fullscale invasion.
    Karlskrona: Naval main port.
Gotland: The one who controls it controls the Baltic sea.
Öland: important to control the eastern coast of Sweden and to hold Gotland.
Oskarhamn: Important to hold due to Logistics between Gotland and the mainland, And the Oskarshamn Nuclear powerplant is also important to control.
    Best regards.

They discovered Soviet plans in East Germany after the fall of the Warsaw pact where they planned for massive use of nuclear weapons directly at the beginning of a conflict with NATO. They planned to use about 80 warheads against Sweden, all major cities, fortifications, industry etc. 40 initially and the rest if Sweden didn't surrender. All other countries would of course also get their share and they counted on large losses of their own forces when they were advancing through the nuclear wasteland.

"counted on large losses of their own forces when they were advancing through the nuclear wasteland."
Yea.. that is fanfiction, that is not how nuclear war works.

This is not true. You dont know what you are talking about. The Warsaw pact had different scenarios, just like Sweden. One of the plans was a nuclear assault, on Denmark, to control the Baltic Sea, with Poland as the aggressor, moving in. Poland have revealed the archives on this. The rest is just your fantasy.
