Got admit. The idea of the rich not even considering that the help might have their own agenda is delicious. There's karma and then there is karma. Got to admit the fact that much of the help were people of color (who as per the movies are particularly targetted by the government death squads) was also satisfying.
It's one of their massive blind spots. They protect themselves well against the angry or desperate mobs of commoners like us quite well, but they take the servants for granted.
A similar thing happens in a novel, Retrotopia. As the US collapsed, the wealthy retreated to their guarded compounds to wait out the chaos, sure they'd be safe there. And they were -- until the security guards and servants quietly picked a night, then went room to room to kill them before disappearing into the night.
They didn't even bother to loot their belongings. It was purely revenge.
This is really deep and toughtfull. For an undeucated yankee hick teenager that has never heard of Marx because US sheep cant talk about anything that isnt dystopian capitalism
Got to admit, using "Got to admit" multiple times comes off as someone trying to sound deep but really just pretentious. Also implying one race killing a different race is good, still makes you racist.
1:28 threw a growing rebellion dude, you think they wouldn’t target a elites party on this night?
This is why you should be nice to the service people
"And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible." Isaiah 13:11
All those who purged to keep wealth and who look upon fellow humans beings as less than them.....those words will fall on their heads that night.
This is well done. There is only so much the people will take before they rise up, but when the rise up it will be messy but we will stand victorious.
Well not every revolution is a success for the people such as the Russian revolution in 1905 which just ended up killing 20,000 serfs and imprisoned another 75,000 in poor conditions
@@scpstudio1811 1917 revolution wasn't a success either, for example considering the fact that the idea for Squid Games came originally from USSR and Nazino tragedy.
@@thirdbrother4018 yea many revolutions end up killing more people such as the French even after the monarchy fell 10,000s where executed
I prefer seson 2 more because its about how they "control " THE Purge an what happens after the Purge. Then how the law an the government works in between Purge nights . It basically answers alot of questions about that universe.
But it's almost more stupid because you have to imagine that the cost of all that surveillance and control would be ridic, especially when you add it to the cost of cleanup and repair that has to happen every year. Oh, and let's not forget that eventually you are going to start to run short on Zippy Maids, qualified body disposal people, construction workers, electricians, etc. We also can't forget about all of the orphans and the systems that would be massively overworked, understaffed, and expensive as hell. A lot of those orphans would have killed their own parents for stupid teen angst reasons, meaning that they are just as likely to kill their new adopted/foster parents next year. The more you think about it, the more stupid the entire premise becomes.
@@LucianDevine I never said it was smart I just said I prefer secon 2 more. Because it shows the stuff that happens after the Purge an how the government works an things. Because non of that is even touched on in the movies.
Revolution against the NFFA
Can't say those elitist NFFA bootlickers didn't have it coming. I would've been on the side of the revolutionaries to show them what it's like to be on the short end of the stick.
yeah you and your little antifa friends think thats what would happen in reality you'd be getting domed by a kyle rittenhouse hahahahha
It's never fun when the Leopards are eating your faces
@@DrZann How is it not the term being used? The Rich voted in the NFFA, the NFFA brought in The Purge, the Rich folk gets purged while thinking they were safe.
Sounds pretty on the nose.
I maybe would have climbed out the window after everyone entered.
Didn’t even know a TV series existed.
Probably because it was a short lived USA network TV series. With two sessions each consisting of like 12 episodes each. Non spoilers the first session is similar to the movies but the send session is much better. Because it starts with Purge night ending so you see how the government "controls " the Purge then it shows what happens efter the Purge an how the government an law works. Each season is about different people so it doesn't matter what order you watch them.
Dante Bishop would be proud
During this time Carmelo johns would’ve likely been the lead of the anti nffa rebellion and Dante bishop still his commander and the anti purgers here actually have barrets (those kinda army hats) which carmelo has so that means Carmelo had likely planned this attack
Yup. I wish he appeared in this scene along with Bishop, it would’ve been better
Huh, I didn’t know they made a documentary about Americas near future.
*Fun Fact:* March 21st is the official annual day of the Purge everyone. Make sure to mark it down on your calendars!
Interesting
The rules haven’t changed yet so it’s before the election year
I wish he appeared in this part. Or even a voice of him would be heard at least
Angry poors gets the goods, while vengeance.
I will never cease to be amazed at this series and how despite all sense and logic to just keeps shambling along despite how obviously stupid the concept is.
THANK YOU! 5 Movies and 2 seasons of a TV show, and for some reason it's still going.
Does this takes place during the forever purge?
the first season takes place in 2027, and the second season between 2036 and 2037, thus the series is set between the events of the films Anarchy and Election Year.
@@manuelfrm919 According to the continuity, did the Purge end after election year or did they bring it back?
@@jacquelinecallejas1390 heres how it goes you got the purge, the purge 2: anarchy, the purge 3: election year, the purge 4: the first purge (a prequel of how the very first purge started) , the purge 5: the forever purge.
@@jacquelinecallejas1390 basically the purge 5 is a sequel to the purge 3: election year. its sad they never made a season 3 of the purge series tv show
how come i cant get a purge prison scene, really out of all the purges the people who mostly deserve to die, you know all those revenge thats been holding up on those criminals you want to get back for taking your loves one, but that would be asking too much sighs
Blessed be america. Sounds like scripture out of trump bible that his selling
too dark 😢
Funny how the kid isnt worth that much like mine is till it is
See 300 000 000 000 000 000 000$ worth of information or however, many zeros that makes my brain tired is just straight worth it if you win you win but youlll say it ends and there weak either way it doesn't that information will be the individual childs cuz it wont go anywhere cuz ur weaker - willy 0
It’s giving GOP party.
If only fiction could become reality....
Nope thx! Fortunatly the Purge is a fiction, let's hope this will not be reality.
true true if it was real my whole house would be wallpapered in antifa and blm scalps
Spoken like somebody who would die cowering in their house on the first purge.
Are we supposed to feel sorry for these characters?
If I remember correctly the two characters here didn't even know what the party was about. They only went there hoping to get a business deal with the hosts
@@randomfandom9459 Yup, and they treated the maid that we see with some respect and decency. Lila isn't spared, because she has purged at least once, making her just as guilty as the rest of the people in the house.
Being an Elitist doesn't make you bulletproof that's for sure as hell.
It actually makes you a bigger target because you. Have more money so they kill you then take your expensive things after.
