Rangers did a favor for America and the rest of the world
You are right man

Quite possibly one of the greatest ALCS of all time.
I agree
It was amazing. Even tho it was a scary matchup I wanted it so bad.
For a baseball fan living in Texas, yes. No matter the team.
Looking back it was an amazing series! It was hard to enjoy as a rangers fans as I was biting my nails the whole time wanting to knock off Houston so badly hahaha
This was the real World Series imo.
Yeah it felt like whoever won this series was gonna be champs no matter what
@@richiecrawford6716 At first it was Phillies vs Braves but then it was Rangers vs Astros. Both big division rivals.
@@richiecrawford6716I mean if the Phillies had gone on to win would it really feel that way.
It's just like 2004, isn't it when the LCS was better than the WS.
The fact that this video is over half an hour proves how great of a series this was
As a Astros fan this was a all time classic series. The rangers wanted it more. Represent Texas well🤝
Tips cap, good game!
Much respect man. I have my opinions about them, but they’re a good team. Appreciate the good sportsmanship
Hopefully more great series like this to come.
Honestly this is currently the best playoff series of the decade thus far, huge HRs, drama, great defense and a 7-game thriller.
It was nice hearing the crowd stop booing when Garcia hit that grandslam
I love how the Texas Rangers are the only team to finally break the “WE WANT HOUSTON CHANT” curse
i never saw them chant that, maybe that’s why lol.

Me too! The area where i was sitting had some people (including myself) saying “WE WANT HOUSTON” but sadly everyone around was just keeping quiet. Probably trying not to be what Yankees did.
this series was everything I expected. it felt like the 2019 world series with all the wins coming for the road team. congrats to texas on their amazing season and Bruce Bochy making it to another fall classic🔥
As an Astros fan. I knew this series was going to be one for the books. Despite losing. I’m happy it ended up being a great series that went to 7.
As a Rangers fan who also liked the Astros when they were NL, I am looking forward to a fun sports rivalry in years to come.
@@omalleycaboose5937I kinda wish Astros were still in the NL.. Imagine a Rangers Astros WS
“They want Houston they got Houston” “They woke up the Houston Astros” “That’s the biggest home run of his career”when they went up 3-2 😂knowing dang well they couldn’t defend home. Luka was right everyone talks when they up. 😂 Reminded me of 2019
“Luka was right” 😭. Really was a great quote tbh
Matches perfect to this. Just keep your head down and take it one game at a time
Nah the quote is everybody acting tough when they up, not talks

December 21st 2019, the Rangers officially acquire 26-year-old outfielder Adolis Garcia from the Cardinals in exchange for cash considerations.
That Evan freaking Carter catch in that goofy ass cutout was epic and to double dumbass off made it even better!!🤣🤣
Wow did not expect the road team to win every game, but what a series! Astros 1-5 at home in the postseason, and 5-0 on the road??! WTF?! Also all the talk about the division winners getting too many days off doesnt apply here since both teams had the same amount of rest, Astros just choked. But props to Texas on taking out the kings of the AL - finally.
Braves fans and others being salty about the time off is my World Series.
Best series so far this year. Great battle, back and forth the whole time. One of the best ALCS I've seen.

What a series, I was going for the stros but man, rangers were just too good.
Honestly it feels so good seeing the Astros lose. I love seeing the disappointment on their faces. Great job rangers.
Although every road team won their games, every game was basically a neutral stadium because every game was PACKED with rangers and Astros fans regardless of which stadium it was lol. Such a fun series.
It’s a Simple 4hr drive to and from Globe Life Field to Minute Maid Park. There is a literal interstate highway that only between Houston and Dallas (I-45)
To quote myself before the series started: “The rangers Astros ALCS series is going to be one of the best ALCS of all time. I have it going 7 games with the Astros winning. Both stadiums are going to be extremely electric, and I would not be surprised if the benches clear. I’m really looking forward to it as an Astros fan” I think I really nailed this prediction(except for who wins). While I am sad to have lost, I truely think the rangers deserve to move on to the World Series. They have fought hard and battled to get to the World Series. This rivalry between Texas and Houston may end up being like Yankees and Red Sox in 10 years, and I look forward to it.

This plays like any great epic. I wanted to throw up in the middle when the hated Astros were celebrating post game 5 but then the hero rangers come back and rightfully win the series. All is right in the world, well baseball world at least!
2019 WS & 2023 ALCS combined:
Astros on road: 6-0
Astros at home: 0-8
*how*
I feel like the Astros thrive as the villains on the road. But for whatever reason, they crumble in front of their fans. I don't know, it's weird. That's baseball for ya lol
Rangers 11-0 on the road!
The fact that the Astros lost all 4 of their home games in the 2019 World Series for the first time in mlb history, then it happened to them again 4 years later is so beautiful
The REAL Texas team won 😂😂😂
21:28 I love that Yordan Alvarez was the one holding Garcia back. He seems the gentle giant type to me 😂
Rangers saved America!!! LFG Rangers!
I don't think in the history of the alcs had 2 Texas MLB teams had played each other. This was a historic series. It will go down in history
This and the 2003 ALCS were the best series to watch.
Game 5 was one of the greatest games of all time.
This was such a good series
This'll never get old.
That grab by Carter in the 8th set all the wheels in motion. The magic had begun!
Was at all 3 Arlington Globe Life games 😢. Glad the Rangers found a way to Win it in Houston
Adolis Garcia may have had the best batting Game 7 in major league history.
It’s so weird to see Alex Bregman have a two handed swing follow through
This is real World Series
Man not only way Evan Carter such a big part of the Series run, he was mission critical in game one. Those POs were so clutch and from someone so young. Amazing.
Astros fans got way too fucking cocky and forgot that this was the 2019 World Series script
Joe Davis dominated play by play yet again
Watching this series has showed me how much of a beast almost every guy in Houston’s lineup is. Absolutely insane dude, they have some crazy talent on that team
The needed more “beasts”!👈🏻🤣
@@jerry9535I guess you’re right!
Despite losing to the Rangers in the ALCS my Astros and the Rangers were the two best teams in Major League Baseball in 2023.
The clear difference is one team had to scrap for literally everything they got and the other was just playing ball. One team is getting old and window closing one team window opening. These teams are heading in different directions and that’s exactly what we saw
The 2023 Houston Astros are the 2nd team ever to lose a 7-game series in which the home team didn’t win a single game.
The first?
The 2019 Houston Astros.

This was the best series I’ve ever seen
2024 this Texas rivalry will be more intense

How fitting that Bruce Bochy took his team to the World Series after beating the League Champs from the year prior…guess what happened when he first took the Giants to the World Series in 2010
The Phillies, who were the NL Champs the year prior.
Rangers won against an NL West team in 5
Giants (NL West team) beat the Rangers in 5
Coincidence??
This series was 1000 times more exciting than the WS unfortunately the D backs just didn’t put up a fight in the WS so it wasn’t as entertaining. But as a Rangers fan I’ll take it!!!!
Philly would’ve been another great series but they kinda choked I guess they were rolling then cliff dive all of a sudden.
Cheaters never prosper, and the Rangers have certainly proven that!
2022🏆, they are not cheaters anymore, they proved they aren't, even if they lost, they proved they are good without cheating.

7:22 BACK-TO-BACK Ks
The ball in game 4 that Abreau hit was absolutely destroyed
Man, it was a nice series with for the second time in the few years, no team has ever won a home game in a playoff series.
Not that it ended up mattering, but Simien being called out because the Abreu's glove scraped Simien's batting gloves is the stupidest thing ever. Make it make sense that Abreu's laces sticking out don't count, but Simien's batting gloves do. Either both should count, or neither should count.
I like this and your line of thinking of the small details Salutes
We win these
That was a good series glad that we ended on the right end of it and took out the snakes to finally bring the state of Texas as a whole. It's very first legitimate world series championship.
As far as I know, the Astros did not do anything illegal to win the 2022 World Series, so I don’t know what you are talking about.
Literally no team won a game in their home stadium in this series
We wanted Houston we got Houston and if you want to beat the best you have to take out the best they was the defending world champion so you had to take them out but as you can see we wanted it more hey now we can call ourselves champion long time Texas Rangers fan right here man
If I had a nickel for everytime the Astros lost a best of 7 series while being the higher seed and winning all the road games but losing every home game, I'd have two nickels. Which of course isn't a lot, but it's still weird that it happened twice.
Unpopular Opinion: This was the real World Series

I am a daimondbacks fan and I hate the rangers so much
As a Astros fans, I find the diamondbacks and their fans cool. I despise every rangers fan and players.
Now here’s the thing. The difference in this series was game 2 bases loaded and nobody out failing to score for the Astros. Not necessarily the reason they lost as even if they scored 1 game is tied. Going into the first. You want to blame a real reason the Astros lost though? Astros failing to score at home wasting opportunities with runners in scoring position. Game 1 bases loaded and the bottom of the order comes up. Game 2 same thing with no one out. Game 7 1st and 3rd 1 out and fail to score. And coaching decisions. Yeah J P France was a better pitcher in the regular season than Jose Urquidy. But in a do or die game who’s better. The experienced Urquidy who’s pitched well in must win games. Let me give you an example. Game 4 2019 World Series he was a rookie and pitched 5 clean innings. Game 2 2021 World Series. Game 3 2022 World Series. (Although it wasn’t really a great pitching performance by the Astros Urquidy was the only one to shut the Phillies down. And Javier who had never had a start at home in his postseason career in a do or die game. I mean you could see the nerves in his eyes that game. Don’t you think it would be better to start someone who was scheduled to pitch a game 7 and never got a chance to? Anyways the fact is this was a series that without the little mistakes from the Astros could’ve gone 5 games with them winning. But their offense slacked off the last three games and so they lost. As clear of a choke as you’ll ever see. If the Rangers win the World Series, the Astros will know that they robbed themselves.
Lol. Rangers whole postseason was depriving teams of risp. At sometime you have to think its more than just sheer luck. Also, put in urquidy and see what happens. Dude already fave up 4 runs and 2 to the twins.
@@abaofifsz the thing was they were able to produce with runners in scoring position does not against the pictures they needed to. A noticeable trend in the series was the bottom of the order producing at home only for the top of the order or the nine hitter to struggle. Three straight hits against Montgomery Maldonado comes up. Rangers were definitely the better team. But you could see different factors coming into it. The Astros office never really found their best lineup. Every day they seemed to be holes in their play. The Rangers only problem with their bullpen which was really good in the postseason. Despite blowing game 5 (but you can excuse the break of the hit by pitch and benches clearing for that). Urquidy would’ve started game 7 2021 if the Astros got there and pitched well at home in his postseason start in the World Series. You’re really gonna put Christian Javier who’s never pitched a game in Houston in the playoffs out there for the biggest game of the year? Especially considering how terrible he was there all season. It’s just a bad choice. If I was Dusty, though I would start Hunter Brown. Despite being inconsistent especially near the end of the regular season in the three innings he pitched in relief in Arlington he shut them down offensively. Whereas Javier struggled near the end of his outing is the Rangers if you get to see him better. All they had to do let’s get on top of his fastball which I’m not saying is easy by any means. But they were sure as hell ready to make an adjustment.
@bakaraka5880 This is all complete fantasy. Especially the part about the Astros should have won in 5 games. The simple fact of the matter is the Astros got runners on but the guys who came up to bat were unable to drive them in, compared to the rangers whose whole lineup produced and produced with 2 outs. All the Astros had was Alvarez. The rangers had the deeper lineup and everyone produced. The rangers pitchers made pitches in the right spots.
@@GaTGaT85 I don't know about you but it seemed to me that the astros got a hell of a lot of production with two outs with the bottom of the order minus Maldonado who I really hope retires because he killed us this year. Terrible managerial decision to pinch hit in game 6 Jon singleton. A washed minor leaguer who will never be good enough for the major leagues instead of WS and ALCS mvp Jeremy Pena who is more than due for a homer. And actually showed signs of power and good contact in the postseason and late in the year at home whereas Singleton all he had was good plate vision and even then he swung at ball four. And at that point the game was basically over. The one time the astros all year I think didn't score with bases loaded and nobody out was in game 2. And to actually produce with the bottom of the order at home should've been a recipe for success. But of course the top of the order aside from Altuve Bregman and Alvarez sucked it up. I don't think a single fan in Houston should want to see the astros get anything but the 6 seed next year if they are going to play like this at home and especially those last 3 games were absolutely atrocious. With runners on and pitching wise as well. There is no excuse for that.
👈🏻🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
