holy shit. ive never played through the 1st generation of mystery dungeon, but hearing this still brings nostalgia and feels. this is indeed a masterpiece.
I'm gonna say it. This is my favourite song in the series. It's a perfect composition for the ending of an incredible(ly underrated and overlooked) game - emotional yet triumphant of your adventure, with the determination that you and your partner will reunite. This remix is everything I ever wanted. (Also bro is your icon JetBot from the CP:EPF DS game? Nice blast from the past)
This Theme was the first one in my entire Life, which brought me Tears in a Game. (And yeah, inspired from this Game! Actually, he isn't the Jetbot anyore, he's called Josch in my Comic Project! If you take a look on my Artworks on my Deviantart, he has a huge Backstory tho. I have a Passion to create Stories) ;P
@@Dialga22239 Same lol. Either this or Run Away Fugitives/Farewell, but I think this is one of the only songs that still can make me outright bawl. Shame no one ever brings up this song because it's so damn good! (PMD and Club Penguin? I didn't expect so much nostalgia back to back. Sure, sounds interesting! I'll look into it!)
Even when I play the PMD1's Story many Years ago, I still can remember the Story. I often forgot from a Game a Story tho (Well, mostly Club Penguin, but some PMD Elements (And References) got into my Artwork World, hehehe ;P )
I feel you, I had a similar experience. I replayed DX recently and made the main character my main OC, and the partner her best friend (Cyndaquil and Chikorita respectively). It was tear-jerking how accurately they talked to each other when Cyndaquil was disappearing. It felt like they were the actual in-game characters.
Thanks for the PMD1DX ost uploads! It's nice to hear what was thrown together for these games, I love how they all seem to have a feel of newness and freshness with the instruments used, while also factoring a retro feel with the more electronicy tunes that serve to remind of the original games
AcousticHarmonia oh yeah so I posted a comment here on this same exact video not long after you did, but didn’t realize at first that what I posted was exactly the same as yours XD just wanted to point that out though in case you ended up seeing it after replying to me xdd but yeah I really do agree with your comment. having both the GBA soundfonts and remastered instruments really does make it more memorable and nostalgic.
@@YourBoyGuzma Haha, understandable. Yeah it's such a neat mix of remastered soundtrack and nostalgic feel when done in that way. Definitely looking forward to finally picking up and experiencing the game.
whenever i listen to the song, it would remind me of when i first finished blue rescue team on the ds years ago when i was a kid; i finished it in a car ride while driving to a mall and was trying not to look really sad when i reached the credits part 😭💔 i finished dx sometime ago but i always get those same feels and always think back to that time, this game has such a big impact and i wish i could experience it again for the first time
this was my first experience with a Mystery Dungeon game and my GOD it was a good experience. this was the first game that hit hard in a long time. i remember vividly laying in bed the day before i beat the game with a legitimate feeling of sadness because i figured it was the last adventure, and I didn't want to leave my partner behind. the only other game that's made me feel genuinely sad is Paper Mario: The Origami King. that game legit got a couple of tears out of me, and although i wish Mystery Dungeon had, i just can't say that's the case. I'm planning on playing EoS next since i hear people constantly praising it!
