ua-cam.com/video/LAmvgXn7i3Y/v-deo.html link to the video where the filter about got me! Super stoked for Scot and his family. They worked super hard on this Hot Rod Talon.
Scot Seevers has been killing it in drag racing since back in the days of the "High School Drags"! He won more races over the " high school" years then any other driver in the nation to become the National Champion. He won the chance to got to Big Daddy Don Garletts School of Drag Racing. I've know Scot for over 30 yrs and I can tell you that he is one of the Good Guys. A super nice guy and always super humble.
Why I love mechanics... That last 5 to 10 percent makes the difference. Love it.. You're bringing up a whole new generation of gear heads!! The right way!
Yea but both him and Kyle’s channel have grown so much in past year alone. PFI’s channel has grown a lot especially. Since filming became a big focus for the shop it’s cool to see the awesome content and how good they are being on camera providing good stuff to watch and the editing too!
Pfi is a miles better channel than kyles, you get to learn miles more from Brent ,Shawn,Jamie and them I'd rather watch Pfi any day of the week!!👍🏻👍🏻😎🙏🏻🤘
PFI and boosted Boiz will get there eventually... I’m kinda a recent fan of them since Rocky Mountain race week last year with Cleetus, but I’ve enjoyed crawling back thought the builds. Goofy Built is growing on me too, but only after I’ve had a few.
brent, I'm stoned AF right now but i just realised that you are the bob ross of the car world. its the way how you talk and go about things is just what draws alot of folks in. keep up the great work man
Completely awesome I learn something new every time I tune in Brent thank you for your genius and your time I feel like a smarter and better person just to know who you are Thank you bro you guys are the coolest
For those interested and being observant there's a wealth of tuning knowlege contained in this video. As well there's efforts to see the average shop does not do. It's a given there's not many with the skills of Brent and the PFI boys but for the rest of the world who do not have access to them, as is most times the case, you "usually" get what you pay for. Do your research before you take your hotrod to a shop,, if they're unwilling to go to the lengths as does PFI,, keep looking.
Great to see your dads Willys Brent. Modern good but old school still rocks and are things of beauty. Cheers for putting smiles on our faces down here in New Zealand during our lockdown. RIP IT!
Yea I’ve only ever heard of guys rag on the engine for having crank walk. But I’ve also heard guys who actually know these engines talk about it being an easy problem to solve with the thrust bearing on the crank. I don’t know if there’s like a new sized bearing that fixes it or if the just wear out. But all said it done these engines have been around a long time and they always take major boost and put numbers up.
Magnus motorsports cut up a few blocks and decided that the oil squirter design change on the 2g blocks that drew oil from the main bearings feed instead of the main oil gallery coupled with oil squirters sticking open on 2g blocks was the issue. The 1993 & 1994 7 bolt blocks share the 6 bolt oil squirter design as didn't have crank walk issues. It wasn't a bearing design problem it was low oil pressure caused by a bad oil sprayer design.
Dave Tucker if you dig that check out GUNSHIP they make some super cool retro synth & I believe that intro music was a loop from one of their tracks possibly
I love all the rad stuff in the shop and the tattoo i grow up watch that movie myself now I work on sprintcars for my hobby and fixed up house in Oklahoma city
holy hell that angle of the car leaving the dyno was freaking insane! please put more of that in the vids! thats a side not alot of folks get to see in the car world. the underside of the car and seeing it moving, like watching it being alive in front of you.
Take a pic of the car. Do a grey stencil outline. Should be cheap to make meaning lots of sales. Put most of the funds to POW MIA or something similar.
Want to wish Brent and everyone a happy memorial day .. As always great video. But that ending was epic I loved the way u put the pict together.. I've havnt had my eyes sweaty with that much respect in a while. THANK YOU
Hope the Seevers don’t mind, but I’m going to have to borrow Fujimo for myself. That’s a cool little acronym, and an even cooler way to honor their Pops, and his love for cars. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Brent this video tribute is amazing!! And I am always waiting for new uploads!! Keep up the good work guys!!! Also if you can please please please tell me the name of that song in the intro id really appreciate it lol I've been looking for the last 30 minutes and I've yet to find it :((
Man Eagle Talon is my dream car, I’m so jealous. I’d put a 4G63 or K24 in one. Keep up all the awesome blessing you guys! My dad drag raced in a 1969 Monte Carlo with a 400sb man the memories I miss him so much he taught me so much! His company was BadTool Racing one day I will make his legacy live on! God Bless and LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY SAFE!
Brent your doing a sweet job with the uploads ... I am trying to keep up with you guys but I am working fulltime but I will watch every up load because you guys are rad ...😎😎😎😎
Not many Talons still ripping, ill always like the talon more than the eclipse for 2gs, and the laser for 1g's. Nice to see a DSM on the channel making turbo noises.
That mountain of power gained down low is nuts. He's gonna launch like a slingshot with that torque increase and keep going harder than it did previously. Good luck to him getting an 8. 👍
that undercarriage camera view was awesome catching the whole drivetrain/shaft. all the awd dyno sessions should start or end with that shot! great idea! peace out
Almost got my hands on a 95 talon back in the day. White with black roof such a nice car. It was my buddies customers and friends from New England dsm club it had 1g head already but a crank walked 2g block. Would have been a quick swap I had 5k cash. He said he was done with it, but wasn't quite ready to walk away. There were some epic cars. Dodge colts, Hyundai Elantras had a 4g63 non turbo you could swap in eclipse gst drivetrain that thing was the ultimate sleeper.
have my self a 95 eclipse gsx. i should degree mine also, damn cant believe that picked up 40hp on just turning them cam gears lol thnx pfi for doing these blogs,

Respect due to all who passed. I ain't American but I respect the contribution. Stay blessed Brett and the PFI family
Why I love mechanics... That last 5 to 10 percent makes the difference. Love it.. You're bringing up a whole new generation of gear heads!! The right way!
It seriously blows my mind that this channel hasn't reach one million subscribers yet.
Yea but both him and Kyle’s channel have grown so much in past year alone. PFI’s channel has grown a lot especially. Since filming became a big focus for the shop it’s cool to see the awesome content and how good they are being on camera providing good stuff to watch and the editing too!

Remembering my Dad, MSGT Joseph Jankiewicz USMC WW2 Vet. today. +40 hp, nice Brett, what a ripper. Happy Memorial day guys. Stay safe, God Bless.
Ending tribute was awesome. I had goosebumps. Great work!

Just goes to show how much you are dedicated to racing and living your life ! We Love You Brent !!!
Nice work Brent and Jamie!
What a team is building around the new shop, Jamie has to be the best camera man and fault finder ever.

It’s amazing how differently the different motors load up on the dyno.
A beast....PFI...xo.
Fujimo.
I wish my talon looked half this good. Awesome car
Fujimo forever!!! Beautiful job Brent on the video and documentary
Thanks again PFI ! great tribute edit!
For, Howard D Seevers. rad ripper!
Great to see your dads Willys Brent. Modern good but old school still rocks and are things of beauty. Cheers for putting smiles on our faces down here in New Zealand during our lockdown. RIP IT!

One of the best all black 2g engine bays I’ve seen
Really enjoying your intros lately. Awesome editing, keep it up!
amazing. that is the only word that is needed
My dad used to have a Plymouth Lazer RS; it’s what made me like turbos and awd.😊👍
Ordering my Eurodyne Maestro Tuning suite for my B5 Audi A4Q; hoping to have her custom tuned soon. Time to wake up my car lol!
This made me miss my old Laser so bad.
Killer car!
I have owned a modded Omni GLH Turbo, 2 different Dodge Daytona Shelby Turbos, a Daytona Pacifica Turbo. Miss my turbo cars!!
Dr. Mantis Toboggan well you thought wrong good sir
4g definitely one of the strongest 4 bangers ever

@@keva3336 a percentage of the second generation 7 bolts ones did, have a crankwalk issue. But it early 6 bolt crankshafts didn't.
Thank you I didn’t know if it was all the engines or what. I have never had my hands in one personally, thank you for the knowledge!
Def. one of the torquiest...by design.

My old man was from WW2.and he taught me more life lessons than you could ever know ! Thanks Brent

I love the gasser. Ur the man Brent. Loving you guys from Chicago. Keep up the good work. I appreciate you
Brilliant video, a great insight into the trials and tribulations of figuring a tune out on a car. Thanks PFI 👊🏻
I love all the rad stuff in the shop and the tattoo i grow up watch that movie myself now I work on sprintcars for my hobby and fixed up house in Oklahoma city
Gotta be one of the badasses of Eagles, and after hearing what fujimo means, I love it. As usual a great job by Brent and Co. 😎
Thanks for giving me a future I wouldn't have it if it wasn't for Dean Seevers and many, many, other brave men and women who fought for it! So thanks
Yeah!! Idk if you read me last comment but I’m glad to see the dsm I would bring mine by if it were ready 😭😍
holy hell that angle of the car leaving the dyno was freaking insane! please put more of that in the vids! thats a side not alot of folks get to see in the car world. the underside of the car and seeing it moving, like watching it being alive in front of you.
The smaller turbo exhaust housing is Viagra for Hondas and Subarus lol.
where's phong at. haven't seen him in ages
He made his own UA-cam Channel look at his Videos
What's it called surprised I've not heard them shout him out
Found it got any 1 else it's UNKNOWN JOURNEY
Very cool proud to be apart of your journey for sure 👍👍💯💯🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏
Thanks Brent for all you and your family of Mechanic's for the awesome content keep up the good work be safe and have fun..
Much respect💪🏼💪🏼
I love when a DSM makes an appearance. DSM is my roots and I still own my 92 Eagle Talon! DSM 4 Life!
Print the shirts PFI front "FUJIMO" on back, most Veterans Like myself would buy them.
Should be blacked out like the talon itself
Take a pic of the car. Do a grey stencil outline. Should be cheap to make meaning lots of sales. Put most of the funds to POW MIA or something similar.
Brent is such a good tuner that he doesn’t need to know the changes. He will see it in the data. Brents my hero
Yeah he seems like a pretty cool, and solid guy. Definitely makes me want to get into tuning
Brent, you need a loooong banner sign outside that goes over all of the bays....”PFI - Teamwork makes the dreams work!”
Videos are awesome dude. You guys kickass
Man a 4G63 is still a weapon of an engine. Owned a few. Loved them tremendously
Red Fred is proud boys!!!
Dsm 4 life
I love when the channel has 4g63 content!
PFI best intro ever on youtube straight 90s vibs🎇🎆🎇🎆

Want to wish Brent and everyone a happy memorial day .. As always great video. But that ending was epic I loved the way u put the pict together.. I've havnt had my eyes sweaty with that much respect in a while. THANK YOU
Brent you really need to start vlogging your daily life more. I guarantee your subs would pick up. You have the right attitude for it
✌
Hope the Seevers don’t mind, but I’m going to have to borrow Fujimo for myself.
That’s a cool little acronym, and an even cooler way to honor their Pops, and his love for cars.
Thanks for sharing.
Love seeing a dsm on the channel and it's a clean 2g without seeing this video just seeing the set up it's a good 800 to 900 awhp car
Hey Brent this video tribute is amazing!! And I am always waiting for new uploads!! Keep up the good work guys!!!
Also if you can please please please tell me the name of that song in the intro id really appreciate it lol I've been looking for the last 30 minutes and I've yet to find it :((

Really super impressed with the tuning skills of pfi. I believe you guys could tune anything to make 700 hp. Nice work as a team.
your the man brent, keep workin, keep it at them and keep movin foreward
That opening edit was rad!
Awesome well made video again! Never ceases to amaze me the variety of issues that come up tuning regardless of the platform.
So many cars doing that race class!! So awesome!!! That dsm is gonna fly!! 4g63 for the win!!
When brent was telling that story of the paper filter I was thinking”good thing he wasnt smoking cuz he would of blew up!” Lol
I love those dsm/talons so much
Brent your doing a sweet job with the uploads ... I am trying to keep up with you guys but I am working fulltime but I will watch every up load because you guys are rad ...😎😎😎😎

The workshop lights are good 👍
God speed Howard Dean Seevers!
Number 100 like! Keep it coming y’all!
Its the smaller exhaust housing. Thats the issue.
Love this car so clean looking 🚘👍
M&H Racemasters 💪💪💪
Man y’all didn’t even talk about the torque on the top end, it was like 200 ft/lbs higher it looked like in the video, that’s crazy!
Awesome!
Damn DSMers always oiling down the dyno :p
Dude we have to get together and build a 4 cylinder dirt track car ! That would be too cool !
The Talon is great, but that Willy is just BAD ASS....
Use wiffleballs in your tank works great and its cheap
talon's are awesome, but the hell do you find parts??
