The two collabs that I'm most excited for that are likely are Eminence in Shadows (since it seems Netmarble has a good relationship with Kadokawa) and Shangri-La Frontier (since Netmarble is in charge of their upcoming game) and if I had to choose an imposible collab it would be the Fate series but I'm never actually expecting it

Yea it's funny that one piece colab was year one of dokkan too, I think they did it because of one piece treasure cruse came out like one or two years before and probably wanted to promote it. I don't know why they don't do it anymore because both of those games are still going strong dokkan about to hit ten years in 6 months and one piece is finishing there 10th.

one punch is very much shounen jump. i own a decent chunk of the maanga an it says SJ on the top of each of their spines. Fairytail should 100% as it would work really really well within the 7ds universe however i think solo leveling is the most likely to happen

my top picks in terms of series with characters I feel would fit well into GC are Fairytale and Black Clover. Any of the other ones mentioned in this video would be nice but I like these two just a bit more than them (besides maybe Fullmetal Alchemist, I'd love to see that).
Fairytale is nice, but Black Clover is a Jump IP so that won't happen.
For me Solo leveling is the easy pick, I mean, they have a game with netmarble, but i actually want the eminence in shadows (that ip is gonna have a movie so is possible) but my hearth tell my that danmachi have some kind of posibility, there are gonna have a new season this year so, yeah, there are some pick for me xd

It's not fair comparing anime's in different eras. It's like watching Michael Jordan play in today's NBA.. SAO was loved when it was released and paved the way to better Isekai Leveling concepts. We have way better Anime because the OG's were good. :)

I feel like “242 = collab” is a bit of a stretch, because I don’t think we’ve ever gotten a collab in June before, and also we’ve never gotten more than three collabs in one year before, and we already have two. I guess they could do more than three collabs this year, but blowing through 3 collabs in only the first half of the year seems kinda crazy.
I think they said in a dev note or smth that they want to do more collabs this year, hence why we got TOG even though it wasn’t the normal time for a collab back then.

Personally for me i would really love a collab with misfits of the demon king acadamy because of the characters but we will be getting a few buffs to teams like demons and unknown.
Anos will likely be a demon
Misha and sasha can be unknown where misha can be a support to unknows while sasha can be a dps to unknown
Lay will probably be a human and can be the free character we can get that can be good for pve content
This is my personally choice of who i want and it would be a pretty nice collab
I can't get into 7ds
GC won't/can't collab w/ the likes of Shonen Jump or any variation of Jump b/c 7DS is owned by Kodansha, AKA, a rival publisher. Collabing w/ a rival will just give them more attention & money & as a rival, that's not exactly smart, no matter how hyped the collabs w/ Jump would be. It sucks, but the truth of the matter is that some of the best IPs will never collide w/ GC, so we can only hope for Isekai IP #4,982 instead.

SAO came before Solo Leveling (I think the LN is even older than the Manga, IF the LN wasn't published AFTER the Manga, which happens quite a few times), so calling it a "cring Solo Leveling" even though it came out before it is somehow unfitting 😀 And I think that Solo Leveling is mid 😀 I didn't dislike it but there was so many that was missing... the affection between Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In for example (Which includes manwha Spoilers so i won't get into it), more backround infos and such. It was a good watch but i would put Solo Leveling beneath/on the same level as SAO, it is just the hype that people are getting overly angry when i say that 😀 But i agree with you when people are bashing other people for LIKING a Anime they find good. I mean, hey: besides the afternoon TV Shows like Naruto and Dragonball, i started watching Animes that weren't present in Germany with a Ecchi Anime and like it even now 😀 But the first big Anime that i watched was SAO and i love that Anime until today. Watched it AT LEAST 6-7 times.
