Just had one of those light bulb moments. My mother-in-law usually gives me lame Christmas gifts, but a couple of years ago she gave me a pump similar to that rechargeable one. Difference being the one I have has a shorter open-end hose and takes 2 D batteries. I use it for removing the gas from generators, lawnmowers, and snow blowers when it is time to put them in storage. It works very well for that purpose. But I could just as easily use it for pumping gas from the gas can into those pieces of equipment. I'm glad I watched this video. I might have a need to transfer diesel fuel in the future. These products look interesting. Thanks for the video.
Justrite safety cans are the very best , Made in America ! Plastic gasoline containers should be outlawed ! Apply a spray can of undercoating to the base and the folded seam .

And you just gave me a light bulb moment: pumping the gas out of my lawn mower when I winterize it. Thanks!
I use the metal Jerry cans here in OZ, I think the 1st one would be better even though it wouldn't store as well in the vehical
I first 2 links for the pumps are the same...
Thank you! That has now been fixed.
