- Опубліковано 5 сер 2024
- We get to explore a waterfall in Zimbabwe called Mutarazi Falls Nyanga located in the eastern highlands and it is home to the Mutarazi skywalk and zipline. There are two skywalks in Mutarazi falls Nyanga, the small one which is 37 m long and the bigger one which is 90 m long.
Additionally, one can do zipline at Mutarazi which is 400 m long, with a height difference of 40 m between the anchors of the skyline. The Mutarazi falls boast as the highest waterfall in Zimbabwe and second highest waterfall in Africa. You can use the timeframes below to skip to different parts of the video with respect to the activities I did.

My friend, you live dangerously.
Great video. Beautiful country.
I just changed the title to living dangerously! Hahahaha! Especially in the ziplining I had to close my eyes for a few seconds. The thought of being attached to only a wire rope 762 m above the ground got the better of me. I also had an interesting conversation with the guide about how they constructed the skywalk and zipline. It all started with a very thin wire attached on DJI drone! Thanks a lot for your lovely comment my dear friend! Cheers!
@@JamesMuganda really, a drone? 😆
Hahahahahaahaha, that was my first reaction too! and they showed me the footage on their desk computer... I was like, "This is so cool!"
Beautiful my Province Manicaland is beautiful
#VisitManicaland

Emzee! Thanks for dropping by! You can say that again! Hidden gems of Zimbabwe!
It's a beautiful place. It's a fascinating image.
Highly appreciated!
There is a wonderful bridge over a very steep mountain. It looks scary when you cross it.
It surely is scary! Thanks!
Very nice
Thanks! Much appreciated
Hello new friend! Wow! This is pretty amazing! Heights make me very nervous but I wouldn't be able to pass up the opportunity to cross the skywalk and zipline. Safe travels!
I really like your channel name! SUperB! Thanks a lot for dropping by and my apologies for late response. I too am afraid of heights but I just couldn't miss the opportunity! SAfe travels too and hope to see you around!
Good to see you got some flight time ! However I would have been staying back at the small building while you guys went over the bridge and did the ziplining. Nope, count me out ! Those are much higher than I've ever done. 😊
Thanks a lot! On my way there I was telling myself, I am not going to do any skywalk or zipline but just to watch and film from afar. When I got there the tour guide was really assuring and managed to get to do the skywalk. it was really scary at first but I slowly eased into it. After the skywalk i felt really brave and I was like yeah, lets do the zipline! Unfortunately drones and natura areas don't go well.
I am from Holley Valley, we call it mudhebhudhebhu and we have these along Pungwe river
Haa munogara kunzvimbo yakanaka. I really enjoyed this place!
This is a nice place ......*domestic tourism*
It really is! I would go back again!
Great video🥰🥰
Thanks a lot!!!
nice to see you at the gate! that is an amazing place, I would definitely go there anytime ! Mutarazi river is the best , loved the steady bridge and zip-line/ skyline was so brave of you to do !!!!!
Thanks my dear friend! The eastern parts of Zimbabwe are really beautiful and for some reason they are under-marketed. They are overshadowed by the attention given to Victoria falls and the likes of Hwange National Park. So I decided to explore this part of the country and I was really amazed. I feel I didnt do justice filming these areas, so there is likely going to be a part 2. Oh the zipline was really scary. The first 5 seconds i had my eyes closed!
Indeed, you live dangerously... not sure I want to know... Nonetheless, another great video!
Hahahahahahaha! Thanks for your lovely comment!
Kweduku kumhatso
Hahahaha, nice one. Haa imi munobva nzvimbo yakasonaka...
The place is so wonderful! I hope I can visit as soon as I can, but I don't think I'll do the zipline. Not strong enough to dare lol. Is it okay to just climb up then walk down again?
Its really a nice place and I would definitely recommend you visit it. In the same area there are also many other stuff you can do. Like visiting the Nyangombe falls. Oh I had to think twice for the zipline! Yes it is okay to climb and walk down without doing the zipline. But i think after you do the skywalk you would feel strong enough that you would wanna zipline! Thanks for such a lovely comment Catherine. Warm regards
