@@ad4ch1_ What even is "real world jazz" ? Yeah some people classify persona 5 OST as being inspired by *Acid Jazz* but this subgenre being way less popular just proves my point. As I said, the original comment did not say Persona was the first to have jazz as inspiration for OST, It didn't even mention jazz at all, maybe he was talking about Shoji Meguro work or Jazz Fusion, persona games were the first place I've heard this subgenre, being introduced to a genre by x Isn't the same as saying x created that genre
@@lucazanetti5536 I have played it and it was a great action type of Persona they made and I love it! You can freely move yourself and that's what I love most in JRPG!
The way that ATLUS decided to remaster some classic songs for Persona 5 Strikers really goes to show how much the entire team cares about music and how it affects the story/immersion of the games.
I love that shift from when the player feels like he should keep with the preparations and buff his team, but then the part hits and the player is like, "Surprise! This is the part where I kill you!"
By far one of my favorite memories (so far) is around last Thanksgiving and Christmas and me deciding to buy persona 5 vanilla. This was around the time we were doing virtual classes and after each class when I'd have about 5 to 10 of free time I'd just sit there and play persona. I love that memory
so many years playin rpgs nothin has come this close. persona 5 royal is a genre of its own and aside from havin a silly storyline the game is a masterpiece and perfect as it is
I wish there was more battle themes like this in p5r (Well technically it only plays when a boss battle happens, so it would be a boss theme, but more music like this should play in all fights)
“Rivers in a dry land, The last ace in a lost hand, When the hope of new beginnings burned our feet, Now we need it! A heartbeat for a tin man, Oasis in a singed land, Remind us what we’re here for, Creating new life, Creating rivers, in the, desert!”
Everytime i replay persona 5 i always sing along with rivers in a dry land, it really makes me feel motivated and excited....Then the twins knock down my party and do an all out attack. Also am i the only one who always heard "tin man" as "demon"?
I have one save just before THAT battle only to listen to this song (i know i can hear this one against those bit**es but the feeling is more special against THAT man)
Lyn’s vocals slap harder than Yoshitsune’s special move
Or harder than Myriad truths
Nothing slaps harder than Hassou Tobi
light phys to all foes 8 timess intensifies
More fire than Pyriphlegethon.
But does it slap harder than Gaea Rage?
Proven Fact: It is impossible to listen to Rivers in the Desert without bopping your head.
It is impossible to remain still while listening, either your head, body, hand, foot, or all of the above are moving
This is scientifically known as "a bop"
factual
I was quite literally bopping my head scrolling through the comments frick you
I mean I commonly don't move to music or even sing, even if I like the song
I’m so incredibly proud that Altus doesn’t cop out on the music. Being a Persona fan has introduced me to a new genre of music. Fucking bops
Um yeah persona made jazz after all
Persona 5 invented jazz
@@ad4ch1_ "Introduced me" = "Made that genre" now ?
@@jenrykster3283 u do realize persona 5 jazz is like a loose representation of jazz in the real world

I spent the entire combat sections of the game dancing. Amazing game
You should try the other games as well, then. All of them have great soundtracks
The algorithm has blessed you brother, and has also reminded me to replay P5 Royal.
Great~! Nice i want to play my first playthrough on Persoona 5 Royal!
Man I just finished playing P5 vanilla not too long ago and I really really wanna play royal
@@lucazanetti5536 True, P5 was fun but I want more exciting things like you can make a Persona stats to 99 and use skills cards to add in to Persona
@@silentgamerharold536 I'm also interested in strikers, judging by the reviews it's a pretty solid game
@@lucazanetti5536 I have played it and it was a great action type of Persona they made and I love it! You can freely move yourself and that's what I love most in JRPG!
I remember fighting shido, first time ever hearing rivers in the desert and when the lyrics came in i came as well.
Woah woah woah there you got too much dip on ya chip

It’s almost impossible to lose when this song is on.
this song is lit
The worst part about this video is that I can’t continue listening
I love that shift from when the player feels like he should keep with the preparations and buff his team, but then the part hits and the player is like, "Surprise! This is the part where I kill you!"
*Literally the best song in the entire game,* I listen to this banger on every-single Boss Fight.
Love the drop on the Scramble version. Adds a nice extra kick to that last chorus

We all have that one song that when it plays you know your about to be curb stomped
I'll never get tired of this song as well as the strikers remix
I loved the original a lot. I still like it, but once I heard the Strikers remix, I could never go back.
For me, this part lined up perfectly with Mona cutting the supply lines to the Holy Grail.
i love the persona community
persona music is absolute fire
Death itself is vibing to this song. Amazing
Everyone keep sleeping on the violin slowly
Rivers in the Desert was so good that they made a sequel and put a whole game in with it once again.
the lyrics is great too
I love when ryuji screams persona every time and in this fight it's so satisfying
Beuitifulness
Take over slaps hardest
This game just makes me like Acid Jazz even more
This is legit what I do when I hear this song
This always pumped me up!
Dio after gaining the stone mask
