You see Mr roberts , when the body ages ,so does the mind. Why do we have elderly, geriatric ppl running the country? How come retirement doesn't include politicians? I am dumbfounded by this authoritarian regime.
Why is the only punishment for a politician that of being voted out of office? Are they not subject to the law also? Can they not be sentenced to jail? Pay fines etc.?
No they are not...while there maybe laws...it's only good for the books...these ppl will get the best judges and lawyers that money can buy...to tie up their case in court that they either die or statutory limits passed...and all our politicians hv enriched themselves... all...since Eric days of O'Halloran and Desmond Carty admitted to "all ah we thief "...the corruption( in all regime) has gotten more blatant and bold face over the years to date...no politicians and their financiers, friends, families...hv never make it to jail...all we the ppl ever hear is that they're going to parliament to move a vote of no confidence...that is so popular now...i think they may start qualifying for the order of TT...because nothing ever comes out of that motion
