This series is not that popular world wide, people couldn’t relate to me when I said that I didn’t collect Pokémon cards as a child but some crush gears 😂😂
This series has a special place in my heart ♥️

Japanese is easily the best, because it's the original, and Jam Project are simply legends. Y'know? Like, personal preference aside, they're great, and they deserve the top credit.
I grew up with the Australian one tho, and I haven't heard it in so long by now. It really brought back some crazy memories. I never realized they recorded a whole separate cover of the instrumental! I have no idea why they would've done that, but I like it.
Also shoutouts to the German version. That shit actually sounds amazing. I don't know any German, but it sounds crazy good.

I suppose I grew up with two versions actually.
I remember the Australian version switched openings at one point, I think to the Japanese version. I assume as much because none of the other versions sound familiar to me.
I suppose the dub supplier must've switched at some point. I can't imagine why it would've changed like it did. I always thought it was weird. I remember being confused why "Crush Gear winning" was changed to "Crush on hippie".

I was always confused by the "Australian opening" because it never sounded right to me. Probably because the Australian VHS/DVD release by Magna Pacific uses the partial instrumental opening.

Even when I'm subbing the series, I still think the Australian is superior, I use its lyrics instead of directly translating the song's lyrics

Can anyone explain to me why my Australian vhs copy of crush gear has the English part instrumental version instead of the Australian English version? Not complaining bc I like that version better imo, just curious

Accoding to ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%BF%80%E9%97%98!%E3%82%AF%E3%83%A9%E3%83%83%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A5%E3%82%AE%E3%82%A2TURBO#%E4%B8%BB%E9%A1%8C%E6%AD%8C (in Japanese) she wrote the ED, but a band named JAM Project sang the OP and ED
And your like the second person who asked for Bomberman Jetters, so I'll probably do that next (or at least sooner than later)

I’m glad I got the Asian English ver instead. It was different and so it was less cringe than the Australian ver which tried to be like the original Japanese too much, which didn’t work coz the Japanese had way too much damn energy
