- Thousands of Indigenous people of different tribes from different district of Arunachal, today joined the Mass rally being organized by the Tribal Identity Movement (TIM) demanding immediate implementation Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act- 1978
Holding placards banners and dressed in local attire rally started from RK Mission Hospital Helipad ground and culminated at IG Park Itanagar.

That is, we people of Nagaland has not lost anything, let alone our culture too, in the name of our religion; i.e. Christianity being the majority. Rather it has brought peace and tranquility among the tribes. All the more, the inception of Christianity in Nagaland brought away our ancestors from practicing head hunting and showed us towards striving to live a better peaceful life and afterlife. It is true that we did away with rituals and some practices which our religion don't encourage. But we still embrace what our culture/root is.
