I was really excited about the sequel and even though I was sad that the old lead weren’t gonna be in it, I was still looking forward to the new leads. I really don’t know why they made her seem like such a bad mother. I know her character is immature and spoiled but they could have used the motherhood plot to grow her up a bit. She could have had a really cute friendship-like relationship with her kid. But now she has a little kid that doesn’t respect her and it’s sad cuz in the beginning she was willing to die just to give birth to him. It made me stop watching tbh

Its not that she is bad mom. In the show she was ready to be single mom and even give up her life for the baby , but that her family and friends are more then ready to help her didn't want her giving up her job either So she was able to be focuse on her career. She is human whiles baby daddy and baby are not so she couldn't carey baby to term so her friend became her surrogate.
Your right, no one is mentioning how her life was threatened being pregnant so the need to transfer the fetus SHE CONCEIVED was necessary! I love them together in this series, they are so perfect as a couple!

This was weird and makes it seem like she doesn’t even act like a mother to her own child. Does she help do anything? Hold him or rock him to sleep, read a book to him? Otherwise she isn’t acting like a mother at all if she hasn’t helped to care for her own child. How is the child supposed to feel loved if she doesn’t put in any effort?
In the scene leading up to this one it shows her realizing that everyone takes care of the child but her. The surrogate mother, the dad, uncles and grandparents have all been doing the work....
