Dr sir. As an IMA arunachal chapter representative, you made many important points regarding security and safe working environment of hospital staff. This must be looked into by the competent authority on war footing. I would also implore you, as IMA representative , to look into and work with the govt on upgrading and imp4oving the facilities in the district hospitals. Its quite disheartening to hear that people died within the hospital complex on bladed weapon injuries, which one would expect would atleast be stabilised in a hospital environment. Evacuation of such patients via a proper vehicle with equipements to keep the patient stabilised with trained staff should also be addressed. Most govt ambulance has a nurse sitting with the driver with relatives tending to the patient in the back. Evacuating someone from menchuka for trihms on a venous laceration injury sounds disheartening. Fear psychosis of doctors SHOULD NOT be the primary takeaway from this incident. Hope i dindnt come off too negative with these remarks and i hope for the best. You are in a better space for looking into the medical future of our state. 🙏
Good point 👍.District hospitals must be well equipped ,with adequate well trained staffs ,so that, such situations can be handled at the spot itself without any referral to a far hospital.
