Golf cart looks great! We are currently upgrading ours to get it Fort ready lol. This video got me so excited for our upcoming trip. Awesome video as always!
Great video as always. Three years ago, my family and I stayed at the cabins. We woke up in the middle of the night to a bat flying around in our bedroom. We ran out to the kitchen and closed the bedroom door with the bat still in there. I called the front desk and they sent their pest control to capture it. We didn’t expect any compensation but they gave us three free nights to use at a later date. The day we checked out, someone from the State of Florida called to inform us that Disney’s pest control sent the bat to Tallahassee to get tested for rabies. A few days later, they called us back to inform us the test was negative. Disney handled that situation really well. We were very impressed. I had to share the story since Travis reminded me of our situation. FYI- Travis’s grilling boots are on fleek.
You did an awesome job capturing the magic of the NEW Disney Cabins 🏕️✨ Loved every minute of it! We can’t wait to go check them out for ourselves!!! 😍👍
I really enjoyed this video! Thank you! What a beautiful cabin! I also deeply appreciate you opening all the kitchen cabinets haha..I'm so nosey so I love it!
I loved seeing the new cabins through your eyes, and Dashers! I know my next trip is going to have to be a split stay for sure! Because you just keep showing all these amazing places to stay!
😊🤗 Thanks for sharing…. I’ve been watching a lot of UA-cam videos of the new cabins and yours is my favorite one….. love that you and Travis brought Dasher….came up with a good idea for a doggie 🐶 gate and decorated the cabin inside and outside!!! I also liked your golf cart tour loop 😊 the kabobs are an excellent idea 👍🏻 So happy you enjoyed your time there Thanks again for sharing ❤
Great video, loved how you found the hidden Micky on the stove, We also love your honesty and love when you have Travis and Dasher in the videos also, keep up the great videos, much love from San Antonio Tx.
Love the video guys! The golf cart is looking awesome compared to when you first got it. That was Chip n’ Dale in the picture frame. Keep up the great work guys!
That is the most Family Practice Clinic of all the Fort Wilderness cabins. And $600 a night? They are crazy. I mourn old Disney and old Fort Wilderness and I'm so thankful I took my kids when it was fun and affordable. As for my grandbabies, i will take them to Yellowstone and Yosemite.
Well said. I have been going to Fort since the 1970s. Today's Fort Wilderness is a shadow of its former self. Disney theming and creativity is sadly gone.
Great job with the tour!! Love the new cabins but agree the old ones seem cozier! Love Travis’ boots! The only other cabin review I have watched so far is Tim Tracker and his cabin did not have the second sink in the hallway. The storage closet was there. I would want the second sink. When you were on the golf cart, Dasher looked like he was nodding his head in agreement!!! 😂❤
I love the little Chip and Dale circle pictures on the wall. Fort Wilderness is a part of my childhood and I love whenever you post videos there. Shoutout to River Country! "This grill is on fire"
The new Disney Tiny House! 😄 modern feel like a hotel in the woods. thanks for showing us! 💗 My bf said it doesn’t give the rustic cabin vibe he’d want. The colors on the houses are an interesting choice.edit: I wrote this as we were watching - edit - my bf liked the cabin more at night too just like you Promise
24:37 the juxtaposition of seeing the old cabins leave as you break in the new cabins must feel a bit uncanny, eh? Anyway Promise’s excitement is contiguous! I love it! I’ve been dying to see the new digs! Has anything else changed in FW since the cabin makeover? I’m breaking my Disney cherry next September and have been going off videos to plan!! Great video and thanks for sharing your trip and time! Cheers!
My favorite Promise Hope video was when you,Travis and Dasher checked into the New fort Wilderness Cabins. Haven’t stayed at the Cbins yet but hopefully some day they will be added to our list of Disney resorts.
The new cabins are beautiful. They are nowhere near rustic…opportunity completely missed to keep the great theme of the original cabins. I will be at the RV part in March to see them in person. Thanks for the video!
great video 🙌🏼 love the style of the new cabins. I stayed once at the old cabins and the feel of it is like no other. can’t wait to stay here in the near future.
Look at your doggo!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Travis did a great job grilling. Looked so yum! 😋 that was so cute of the cast members 😍 Beautiful family. Love your vlogs Promise ❤️
I agree, these cabins are great and although different you still get the Fort feeling. But they are not worth $600 a night. We checked for September through dvc and it was still about $515 a night. I hope the pricing goes down as they get more cabins replaced but Disney is not known to lower pricing.
Love your video just a little FYI if you leave any door open, the air conditioner will shut off and if you leave the door open for a while, the air conditioner will freeze up lol we just learned that over the weekend
Oh yeah, we definitely don't leave it on longer than just to like step outside for a few seconds. We also did get locked out, but they were very quick to come and let us in!
Ok so I’m surprised I actually liked a couple things…but these cabins are lacking the most essential thing and that’s the wilderness vibe. I’ll say I liked the artwork and I think the bunk beds steal the show. They did a great job with that space, they made it a beautiful cozy nook for kids (or whoever) and those lanterns on the walls of the bunks was a real nice added touch. However it’s missing that warm cozy vibe, it’s so stark and bright and light, grays and whites and stainless steel…I also don’t care for the layout. It seems like the focal point when you walk in is a big kitchen with very little attention to any sort of living space. The old cabins felt like you could hang out in the living room and then have a kitchen off to the side if you needed it. But this was almost the opposite…hang out in the kitchen and have a small little couch in the corner to gather if you wanted to. Which is unfortunate and I agree with you, I would never pay $600 for it. The other positive I’ll say is the outside of the cabins isn’t as bad as I thought they’d be and I def like that rusted red color the best. But it’s lacking any warmth, comfort, and gathering space. Which is the epitome of these cabins…unfortunately they missed the mark there.
The modern take on the cabins is interesting, think I like it. More bright, but not sure if it is a cozy feel. Think it seems to be more of a hybrid feel. Modern vacation in the wilderness
Is there a camp store on site to buy food to grill? Or is it recommended to do like an InstaCart order? Considering staying here in January and would love to utilize the amenities. Thanks for the tour!
I have never stayed at the old ones, so this looks amazing! What a great rate you paid and looked like a great stay! Dying to say anywhere on property there.
I have never stayed in any of the cabins. I like the newer ones because the older ones looked dated… they look roomier and I love all the windows. I like the pull down bed in the living room. I definitely would not pay $600 a night 🫤
By the way, you're still able to rent golf carts from outside vendors... The catch is you have to pick it up off site and they have to provide insurance paperwork. I know of one outside company that is already doing that. I think requiring insurance was needed. Too many cases of people not caring and Disney needed to protect themselves and their guests. Great video
OMG Promise! The Tim Tracker family stayed in 2511 in their video! We've never stayed at the Fort but would love to rent points to do it. What 's the link of the place you've rented from? Are you guys doing the big family campout at the fort this fall? I hope so. I've always loved watching those vidios!😊💖✌🏰
Hey, thanks so much for your comment! I didn't rent from a company just from a friend who is Dvc. But there are tons of companies online and yes, I do think we will be there in October like always.🎃
I think it would've cost them more to renovate the old ones instead of just bringing in new ones but hopefully they keep a couple of our old classics around🫶🙌
The cabins are beautiful, no doubt, but I hope they keep the old ones as well. It's a piece of history. The old cabins transport you to another place... something these won't do. It's very sad.
Love the video, thank you! I tried to book a cabin yesterday on a DVC points website and they were about $450-$465 per day, so we'd love to know where we can find them for the $200/day you mentioned!!

Have been to the camp grounds many times. Now it’s just too expensive even for a Disney experience. I’m so over it. No way should it cost as much as it does even for a tent or pop up camper site. It’s stupid to pay $600.00 a night to sleep. Some people have more money then brains I think.
Yes, I started going to the campsite when it was only about $50 a night to camp, even then it seemed extravagant compared to most sites that were usually about $10. I love it so much though.. so I either have to deal with it and pay the price to be at one of my favorite places in the world or not go.🙈🥹
I love your pod cast but I have to say Disney dropped the ball on these they look like the storage shed in my backyard and yeah I’m sure they are nice inside but all they had to do was use the log cabin looking siding on the outside , as they set they look cheap and that smell your getting is chemicals from all the new wood and plastic that is actually bad for you
Unpopular opinion I loved the old ones
Loved this Promise!! I loved that you mentioned the DCV points. That’s a great idea…need to look into that! Thank you for your awesome video!!!!
Yeah, for sure thank you so much for coming along. I hope you find some points!
Golf cart looks great! We are currently upgrading ours to get it Fort ready lol. This video got me so excited for our upcoming trip. Awesome video as always!
So happy you're gonna bring your own along too!

That is so crazy that that happened to you obviously we've always heard stories about bats there but really nice to hear a firsthand story lol🙈🙈
So funny because I'm recently single, and when I saw that, I added 'loves to grill in cowboy boots' to my future dude wish list 😅

Yay! So glad you got to check out the new cabins. They look beautiful. Dasher got a little vacation too. Love that.
Thanks for coming along Melissa. Yes, Dasher loved his little mini staycation!
I love this video, you guys are always so happy and upbeat. You look like you’re having so much fun all the time.
Thank you so much we try to. It's definitely not always sunshine and smiles, but usually it is when we're at the fort!
I loved seeing the new cabins through your eyes, and Dashers! I know my next trip is going to have to be a split stay for sure! Because you just keep showing all these amazing places to stay!
Yes, I think a split stay would be perfect!

Thanks for the comment and really appreciate you noticing the upgrade on the golf cart🙌
Love your little touches to make it homey. Looks like a great place to relax for a night. Dasher looking handsome as always.
He says thank you. He definitely was living his best life and the new cabins lol
That is the most Family Practice Clinic of all the Fort Wilderness cabins. And $600 a night? They are crazy.

Now this is really interesting. I wonder if different cabins have different options. I'm glad we had the second sink too.🙌
This grill is on fire 🎶 😃

Thank you, Susan. I really appreciate it. We were having a great time!
The tv in the bedroom is the biggest upgrade 😂 Seeing the old one compared to the new tv is so funny!
Also I think you guys got the best cabin ever. That view on the water is insanely cozy
Great catch Kristen. I didn't even think to really mention that yeah the old mini box TV in the old cabins was too funny lol😂
I love the little Chip and Dale circle pictures on the wall. Fort Wilderness is a part of my childhood and I love whenever you post videos there. Shoutout to River Country! "This grill is on fire"
Love this comment! So happy to know that there's other people who have lifelong memories there🥰
Awesome vlog Promise! Looks like a nice place to stay.
Such a chill stay Nick! hope you're having a good weekend!
I noticed the bourbon bottles on the counter. Love it. ❤

Yes, it was much more cozy once night, though!
Love all your videos. My favorites are the ones with Dasher! You should get with Paging Mr. Morrow and do a video with Gracie and Dasher!!❤
I know we've talked about it with Nate before unfortunately both of our dogs are kind of weirdos and don't like other dogs lol

My favorite Promise Hope video was when you,Travis and Dasher checked into the New fort Wilderness Cabins. Haven’t stayed at the Cbins yet but hopefully some day they will be added to our list of Disney resorts.
I’d want the old one! Rustic is the style when I think of cabin. What can you do. Have a magical day Promise and Travis! ❤
Yes, I really do hope that they keep some of the old ones!
The new cabins are beautiful. They are nowhere near rustic…opportunity completely missed to keep the great theme of the original cabins. I will be at the RV part in March to see them in person. Thanks for the video!

Thanks so much, Jose. I'm so stoked you got to stay in the old ones. You'll definitely have to check out these new guys for sure!
Such a beautiful place..there's something about living amongst the trees ❤
Yes, although the cabins have changed because everything else around, it is the same. It's still has that cozy vibe!
Look at your doggo!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Travis did a great job grilling. Looked so yum! 😋 that was so cute of the cast members 😍 Beautiful family. Love your vlogs Promise ❤️
Yes, the cast member parade at the end was definitely my favorite part of the whole day!
We love the new cabins ❤
Love the Chip and Dale theming 🐿️❤🐿️
I can see you do, especially by your awesome profile pic!
Trav with some great bourbon picks. Can’t believe you would chance transporting the Russel’s 13 😂😂😂
Yeah, he crazy right lol
I agree about the Bunks not being separate, would be tough to get sleep, but everything else is Nice, Thanks guys for great Tour!!
Thanks so much, Michael. Glad you enjoyed it and agreed with us!

Love the music pick! Awesome vibe for the Fort
Thank you so much! Had to pick a fun tune, lol
Hidden Mickey on the pull out bench in the bathroom 😊
Great catch I didn't see it until I was editing the video lol
What an amazing stay!! Now I definitely wanna go back! ❤❤
Yes, we loved it. It was shocking that we weren't disappointed lol
RIP the Disney’s cabins, that’s a tiny house and has zero cabin feel now 😢.
I can totally see how it feels like a tiny house for sure🙌
Fr
Great times !! On my bucket list for sure ❤
I definitely think it's a great bucket list to have and now that I think it'll be cheaper to get in there. It will be more helpful for everyone to go!
Cabins look very classy and you did great on the room tour 😃
Thanks Chris. Hope you're having a good weekend.🙌

Just wish I didn’t have to walk by those sleeping on the pullout in the middle of the night when I have to potty 😂
100% agree with this🙌
I love everything Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. Thanks for another awesome video! Promise you're the best.
Thank you for coming along. You can see how much we love it too!
@PromiseHope Yes you guys are the best!
I have never stayed at the old ones, so this looks amazing! What a great rate you paid and looked like a great stay! Dying to say anywhere on property there.

I love your Boston Terrier.

The new cabins look really nice! did you guys get a new golfcart or remodel the used on you got? looks good!
Yes, this is the remodeling of the old broken down used one we got lol

The lures are Mickey Minnie Pluto Goofy Donald Daisy Chip Dale and I think Huey Duey and Luey
Great guessing!!
Were you able to get the cabin cool enough? We have the a/c maxed out and it won’t dip below 79 degrees. Yes, it is very hot outside but COME ON!!!
I liked the old cabins. Your supposed to camping. Everything is new modern and soulless. They could have renovated the olds ones.
The big brown one is Dale and the smaller brown one is chip…..the lure picture!
How did I not catch that lol
We paid $700 for 2 nights as a Disney pirate passholder
Love the video, thank you! I tried to book a cabin yesterday on a DVC points website and they were about $450-$465 per day, so we'd love to know where we can find them for the $200/day you mentioned!!
So if you're booking through a resale site, they're going to be a lot more expensive than booking directly through the DVC site or buying DVC points from someone directly. it also could change in price depending of the season. Yes, to me (here in TX presently), Publix (FL) seems to be a bit pricey for a "typical" chain supermarket. After all, they're not Trader Joe's, Whole Foods or even Sprouts, yet they're pricier than chain supermarkets here in TX (Albertsons/Randalls/Kroger/HEB) and in CO (King Soopers/Safeway) or even in NM (Smith's). I don't think Winn Dixie (also in FL) is much different price-wise from Publix.
-- BR
Yes, Publix can sometimes be pricey. The best thing about them are their Bogos!
Is it just me or do the new cabins just sorta look and feel like an apartment or random hotel room? They felt like cabins before.
Give these new cabins some time...in 50 years they will be "old cabins" also, and when they take these out and put in new ones, THESE will be the cabins people 50 years from now will want back as no one will even rememebr the cabins here originally. It's all relative. ;-)

@@PromiseHope I'm just a sentimental fool lol stayed in the old ones alot as kid but going to give new ones a shot make new memories with my kids
I think the television in the living area just seems awkward. How does a person comfortably watch it?
We did say the same thing fortunately, usually when we're in the cabins were not watching too much TV. It's usually just a place to play music.
for the price i miss the tub and washer dryer i wont go anymore:
Yes, I should've mentioned it didn't have a tub. I think a lot of people will miss that for sure.:(
I have one question and one question only, is Travis wearing genuine ostrich boots or is he just new boot goofin either way he's rocking them boots
I'm not sure what he would say to this, but I think it's more just like new boot goofing lol
yaaaaaaasssss!!!!!
🥳
Four bottles of bourbon... how long will you be there?!?!? 😅 Thanks for showing these cabins. We were curious!
...just for one night I think she said?
Hey, thanks for coming along! Whenever we go anywhere, Travis always brings way too much because I don't think he knows which bottle he's going to want to drink from lol
Yay!!!
🥳🥳
Doesn't look or feel like old cabins. The $600 a night is insane!

Thanks as always, Valerie love that you changed your photo!
Holy crap, those kabobs are expensive there!!
I think the stove is an accidental Mickey
I guess we'll never know lol😂
Travs grilling boots tho

Trust me, I totally understand. I get really upset when Disney changes as well, but it is inevitable.🥹🙈

tiny houses. i want the old cabins back!
Hey Travis, good to see a little toxic masculinity on one of these Disney channels.
Mean that as a total positive
