Even though many people like to bash Acqua Di Gio due to too many people using it and is "no more exclusiveness: and what not, I still feel that the it's one of the biggest complement attracter. Except for those girls/ladies that had bad experiences with their exes that used to wear AdG, many still love it on guys and they like to shower complements for it, too. I have very good memories from 2012-2014.
This has to be one of my favorite most complimented video. I don't put much emphasis on compliments but I welcome them when they come. lol I think the recall of each specific compliment that stood out really added to the video. Man, I've been inspired to try and shoot a compliment video. lol Thanks Steve!
I have to say that your enthusiasm is very contagious and how too in a venue where smells (not yet anyway) aren't shared you smell very fresh with everything simple but rather elegant and when compared to other reviewers online (I want to ask that one guy to put away his ironing board and the other guy to come in out of the hallway) you are a standout ...but no need for me to fault others (their points of view are appreciated) in order to make you look good...your videos are terrific, and so are you, incomparably. From this particular video, again I agree with many other commentators in how making it personal to you with your remembrances of a particular compliment, lends a genuineness that has me looking forward to trying the YSL and the Creed. I have the Gucci and Chanel and like them both and so glad you like them too, knowing that I'm excited to have two more favorites to get to know and create memories with...thank you for that. Keep doing what you're doing you're doing it right.
Aventus never fails to garner an overwhelming number of compliments as well as YSL l'homme for me. Its amazing the numbers I receive but can sometimes become embarrassing when I'm the center of attention and my g.f. is with me lol.. Chanel Platinum Egoiste is another guaranteed compliment getter for me. As always thanks for the great videos. They are always insightful. Keep up the great work!
This is probably my favorite video of yours. It doesn't have much to do with the fragrances themselves, but I like to hear about how people get attention/noticed by simply wearing a fragrance. After all that is why most men/women wear fragrances.

Redolessence Haha no problem. I think people tend to like the top 10 videos more, and that goes without saying for most of the fragrance review channels. Most people just wanna know "Whats the best fragrance to buy?" or "What cologne is gonna be the best in winter?" and things like that. So by default people watch top 10's to try and find out what other people like. Glad I could be of some help!

It really shows the viewer how well that fragrance does with people around you, because after all that was the whole point of this awesome video

Creed Aventus is my most complimented fragrance as well. To be honest, I never received any compliments on my fragrances until I bought Aventus. By the way, did you major in English?

Pretty solid list. Love Aventus, but my top complimented cologne of this summer was Green Irish Tweed also by Creed. Aventus was second on my list. Great vid.

Great List Steven and I like your stories. I think that I have 4 on your list and enjoy them very much. My most complimented cologne over the last 4 months is Superman by CEP and its a head scratcher as to why. I just don't understand it but it amuses me deeply. Its such a weak cologne and you need a full 10 sprays or more to make it work ... but holy cow. Maybe Im a bit more smiley and approachable when I wear it because mainly I wear it when Im with a group of guy friends that includes a guy that says he hates and cannot stand anyone wearing cologne. Superman is very weak and is my goto scent when Im around him and he says he doesn't mind it. Could be my attitude like you say but I do believe there is something there. I was a little disappointed that Bois D'Argent didn't make it. Im a bit of a Dior fanboy when it seems like most of the reviewers trend towards Creed. Great list but Im still going to stay with Batman and Insurrection Pure 2. I do appreciate the work you did on the Insurrection house and how you taught us about them and their reverse engineering. Price aside, I like a more vanilla scent than tobacco and most reviewers seem to think Insurrection is a hint warmer and creamier with the vanilla note. Can you even get Chocolate and Roses anymore ? Oh well ... its a most complimented list and not an easiest to buy list. Thank you for your vid. I always learn new things from you.

The scent I'm mostly complimented by all the time is either Kenzo Jungle pour Homme, Perry Ellis 360 Black, or Polo Blue Sport by Ralph Lauren the big 4.2 white bottle with the horizontal stripes design! I adore that juice cause it's very sexy scent!! Anyway, I very much enjoyed your list! I have to try out some them like the Gucci Black or the Prada...so thanks for sharing Steven! :)

I own 5 of these. Aventus is always a sure thing, agreed! La nuit de l'homme has a high batting avg with me though I don't wear it very often. I wear l'homme and bleu de chanel to work a lot but have never been complimented on them...and I work in an office with 95% women...again Aventus never fails to get me a positive remark.

Acqua di Gio is about the easiest fragrance to recognize that i can think off though, this was about the most popular scent in 90's, it's not so surprising she guessed it, it's a very distinctive scent, unique and extremely popular, and a great one at that. :)

Sure you can! There are times when I have to step out of my shell and when I do I can always channel and project a level of confidence that's not so natural for me. 😅

Damn straight "Redo" it's about the Man not the clothes/cologne/etc..I have gotten compliments wearing Drakkar for goodness sakes. I usually wear Thierry Mugler colognes, but freaking Drakkar still gets me compliments, go figure.
