Herbert Brownell

U.S. Attorney General Herbert Brownell speaks to Alan Greenberg. Brownell was AG under President Eisenhower and was very influential in convincing him to run in the first place. Brownell was strongly in favor of civil rights which may have prevented him from being nominated to the Supreme Court.
