Guys, i have been using this phone for more than a year. Everything is great as he said but there is a lesser known issue of black crush in this display. At lower brightness the blacks are more greyish in colour and I have tried Pixel OS and the EU version on MIUI 14. I wouldn't recommend this phone if you do a lot of media consumption.
Knew which phone in 5 secs as I'm holding the same phone. I bought it last year when it's original price was 24k with a exchange off of 10k from my 3 year old redmi note 7 pro, it costed me 14k in the end. Insane value for me. Currently running Android 13 AOSPA custom rom with Google photos unlimited backup at original quality. Although my smartphone use is just reading, some social media browsing and media consumption, 778G's performance is top notch and I expect it to emulate Switch games like The Witcher 3 smoothly soon using the being developed Skyline emulator
Is battery life any better or worse with the custom ROM? My phone hasn't gotten the Android 13 update yet for whatever reason, so I'm considering switching over.
@@drachna for me running a custom rom hasn't mattered to me for battery life, it just depends on user's usage. If you're running a high fps game with high brightness for hours, you can't expect a good Screen On Time, if you're just reading a book with medium brightness, you'll get the good Screen on time. It all depends on usage mostly, also some ROMs prefer battery life over smoothness while some prefer smoothness over battery life, depends on the kernel config they're running.
As a 11 LE user from past 1 year, keep one thing in mind.this phone have good display specs but it's having tianma display which have severe black crush issue,90% users in our Lisa community are facing this.
I bought 8 mobiles and still recommend this is a good mobile in Xiaomi India but the promise from Xiaomi India Android updates are toooo delay and most waiting for Android 13 😞
I have had this phone for 9 months now, got it for 19k at the time and like the video says, it is flawless in handling day to day tasks. The display is almost bezeless, and with 10-bit amoled it's a treat. But I absolutely hate the battery on this thing, considering I use my phone too much the battery doesn't last long. I although bought it for 90Hz refresh rate, I have to use it on 60Hz otherwise it bleeds battery.
Trust me for this phone, I have been using it from feb2022, and it is still working flawlessly as my primary device. Just love the 778g processor here,it is best
Well, I've suggested this device multiple times as a great pick under 22K in most of the Amazon's Sale Festivals. Phone Looks & Feels Premium in Hand. Firstly the Screen has all symmetrical bezels & there's no ugly chin unlike every phones in this segment, Performance is just next level & consistent, Haptics & Camera output are again best in it's segment, battery performs decent considering its capacity as I get 5hrs of SOT in heavy usage that includes gaming & 7hrs in normal usage. I got this device (8+128GB varient) for ₹13,000 on exchange with my 2yo Redmi Note 9 Pro & Trust me, It was a Killer Deal !!
Since I got it last 2021, I could never be happier with this phone. Even the battery and charging speeds have been really good enough for my needs. Also, I'm running MIUI 13. Waiting for the next android update soon. And damn, it's so feather light! 🌬️
One thing I want to note: PIXEL EXPERIENCE rom is available for this phone, which has no bloatware and super smooth experience. A killer combination of both hardware and software in this price. One word for this phone with pixel rom: Flagship Pixel phone under 22k
Completely agree with the video as I'm using the same phone. Phone is very good although cameras due to samsung sensor and battery life are average. Dolby vision screen is great but black crush issue is there with display.

My friend got really bad experience from service center while repairing the phone, they denied to do service and told that customer has splashed water on phone and that because of that device is out of warranty, but my friend never done that even if the device is IP53 rated, he never drop single water droplet on mobile.
I guess Redmi note 10s , still makes sense in 2023, see this phone has good process for both gaming and day to day task, it has 5000mAh battery (33 watts of charging speed) better camera than note 11 series which also includes 5mp macro camera while still staying slim and light in weight and also pretty great when it comes to its pricing.
You already mentioned this but I think the Samsung Galaxy M52 5g is still a bang for the buck. I'm just not sure if it will get the same extended software support as the other series.
Xiaomi series smartphones also don't get bricked with updates... It's a pity that such a beauty of a device has had its image ruined by the low-end sub brand of its own.... Trust me, I've been using it for a year and following the Xiaomi series and none of them have any issues with the software side of things, like getting bricked.... I recommended my friend moto edge 30 but he still prefers mine just for one reason, and that is the camera.... It's simply the best, and also without ois, it takes better stable videos than moto's ois cam

That's not true for Xiaomi phones. Previously I was using redmi k20 pro and now that's my dad's secondary device. Now after upgrading to samsung a52s I can say one thing very confidently that even after 2 years, I felt more satisfied using k20pro.
The best phone from xiaomi was the redmi k20/20 pro. Good cameras [including telephoto], good processor, fantastic design and the price was also justified. I don't know why xiaomi is not making phones like that one...
The one big drawback for this phone is the lack of proximity sensor. And there is a significant lag when we exit an app and return to the home screen. I was quite disappointed with this phone though it looked awesome.

Now I have been using this phone since 1 year. Honestly I have no issue with this. This phone never feels outdated if you have the Diamond dazzle (white one). Camera good, macro was excellent and the in hand feel. The display was superb bcuz it had the Dolby vision. I play Apex legends and have no problem at all if you play decent games.

Purchased in dec 2021 ..still going strong Most 0f the issues highlighted such as black crush / blue tint /battery drain were not a part of my experience ..it has heen mostly related to minor miui bugs which were subsequently fixed with regular updates .. the overall user experience with this device has been pretty good and under 25k it makes a lot of sence given the inflation: innovation ratio as stated
have been using this phone for 2 years and all my friends will beg me to take their pictures on my phone. the pictures look absolutely stunning in the phone.
I am still using the Max pro M1 , bought it in 2018. But still strong. I hv kept updating the OS, with the current one Android 13 custom ROM. The 9nly thing disappointing is the camera that is not upto expectations, rest all assured it is a rugged phone i hv used so far.
I was looking for this phone's review on your channel back in 2021 when I bought it soon after its release. But not finding its review on YOUR channel I was disappointed in my decision of buying it. I own Realme X7 Max 5g and it still makes so much sense even in 2023. 8Gb Ram 128 gigs of storage and dimensity 1200 is an absolute beast. I'm not a gamer but i have tried gaming and phone performed really good. Stereo speakers and Amoled FHD panel this phone is still definitely making so much sense in 2023. I would however be real and say that the cameras aren't the best thing on this but they're definitely not bad.
The phone which still makes sense in 2023 is Samsung S20 FE 5G(launched in early 2021), has the best cameras and specs with the samsung's cool features.
I've been using a mi11x since oct'21 & am very happy with it except the camera and the lack of 5G bands as well as Xiaomi has still not provided the Stand alone 5G update for Jio. Also 33W sounds slow, but I haven't had any day when the phone wasn't charged in the time it took me to get ready.

Redmi K20pro, flagship chipset, great build quality, really reliable, great clear and clean display(thanks to pop up selfie camera), headphone jack, great camera(sans gimicky bits) Downside: no software updates 😒
K20 Pro has probably the best custom rom support. It's a matter trial and error though:-) Only area where it will disappoint is Battery. 4000 mAh is too small these days.
3:15 I prefer Moto Edge 30 because almost the same specs and then I prefer UI and in both smartphones it has a different UI and I prefer Stock Android and 90Hz VS 144Hz etc.
I'm using this beauty since November 21, and it is the best phone I purchased in 2021. Still makes sense to buy in 2023. Battery backup is great. I get 6hrs to 6.5 hrs SOT with around an hour of calling everyday. The only problem is, I don't know why, but i'm Unable to get 5g Network on Jio Sim.

Dude I also own this phone and using this as the only primary device since oct 2021 and I'm happy with it's features, light weight, performance, and what not but the major downgrade of this phone is not its battery or charging speed but it is "black crust" problem of it's screen. Don't buy MI phones, overheats and miui has terrible software bugs. I'd say iqoo is good but Funtouch OS is a deal breaker. Then we got Nothing,Realme, Samsung under 25k which are good options to consider. I'd say nothing is best at 25k price range as it is on a discount!

I've been using this phone for 11 months now and I've gotta say, this is a good value for money device. I purchased this phone at 28k from Xiaomi outlet. A few software bugs here and there but this phone works like a charm, especially the 90hz refresh rate. Performance is very good and I haven't faced any lag up till now. I also keep getting 5g connection in some parts of Mumbai wherever the network service providers have installed a 5g tower. The main camera takes good quality photos during daytime. At night time the photos don't come out that great. Overall it's a very good phone with minimum to no hiccups. Can recommend this to anyone who's looking for a phone offering smooth usage at a price range between 23k to 28k.
Yes, I am still using as my secondary phone along Realme 10 Pro Plus. My 11 Lite NE has Screen Issue, blacks are not complete black and colors not vibrant like amoled. Same, my frnd Mi 11X has N77, N78 band and it just doesn't support Jio/Airtel 5G till now.
Watching this on the 11 lite NE. Feeling good that I bought it😂

Samsung A52s still makes sense as a 2021 fone with Snapdragon 778G and the promised oneui updates
I trust Samsung over Xiaomi for updates:-)
Using this from a year and enjoying it
As a 11 LE user from past 1 year, keep one thing in mind.this phone have good display specs but it's having tianma display which have severe black crush issue,90% users in our Lisa community are facing this.
I am also facing the same. Can this be resolved if I get screen replaced ?
Service Centre said it will remain as it is...
@@TheGratitudeMan the panel they ordered for this model have the same hardware issue
Also bro be care because the screen coming apart itself middle section not in or not in bottom.this may cause ip rating 0.
Yes this is a problem in my phone too
Does replacing display helps minimize or fix the Black Crush?
It feels better 😇 when you watch a video that already in your hands
Using this. It's an amazing set 💖
Battery is even worse on Samsung A52s 5G despite being 4500mAh[4370mAh]
@@bullyeyelash3061
M52 was also a good option as it had full fledged OneUI & I had on my wishlist alongside Xiaomi 11 Lite NE.
thank you for this video. i bought it in feb 2022 , this is a allrounder .. love it
Since I got it last 2021, I could never be happier with this phone. Even the battery and charging speeds have been really good enough for my needs. Also, I'm running MIUI 13. Waiting for the next android update soon.
And damn, it's so feather light! 🌬️
Hey..can u still switch lenses between wide and ultra wide while recording at 1080p 30fps ?
One thing I want to note:
PIXEL EXPERIENCE rom is available for this phone, which has no bloatware and super smooth experience.
Hi , I'm planning to buy this device. Can u pls tell me experience and when did u purchased it. Did u faced any major problem yet?
I recently purchased oppo reno 5 pro in refurbished condition from Amazon in 18500

@@pandeyvaibhav76It's the best experience. This phone is very very light weight. Sometimes you don't realise it's in your pocket. I bought it for myself but when my sister took it in her hand, her first reaction was give this phone to me n now it's her. I really liked this phone. Definitely go for it ❤.

Watching this video on it. Amazing phone. It made phone weight my topmost priority. Once you go light you wouldn't be able to like heavy phones.
Well it makes me happy to see this video, cause i decided to buy this in june 2022, and also got a killer deal with a exchange bonus and i got this phone in 16k only
Thanks for bringing this up. I have been using this since July 22 and i really really like overal device as I got 8+128 at just 17k during sale.
I'm a custom ROM developer for this ROM and currently using Bootleggers in it.

Bought 8/128 for 18k during sales, best for the price I'd say
I had doubts about buying this phone or Xiaomi 11i 5G, back in April 2022. Then, I chose Xiaomi 11i due to the exterior looks and 67W charger provided. Now, eagerly waiting for MIUI 14 with android 13 update 🙂. Waiting.... 🙂
Is it good bro
What about phone condition ?
@@jebinj1876 I won't recommend it for 25k. If you can get it on offer, it's good. Once it was available for less than 20k on offer
@@tirthabera495 Phone condition is good. But it's the software which isn't getting updates. In 2023, for 25k It's not worth it
My friend got really bad experience from service center while repairing the phone, they denied to do service and told that customer has splashed water on phone and that because of that device is out of warranty, but my friend never done that even if the device is IP53 rated, he never drop single water droplet on mobile.
I guess Redmi note 10s , still makes sense in 2023, see this phone has good process for both gaming and day to day task, it has 5000mAh battery (33 watts of charging speed) better camera than note 11 series which also includes 5mp macro camera while still staying slim and light in weight and also pretty great when it comes to its pricing.
i own one and all i can say is the Camera is the worst in the segment both rear and front, there are phones with better camera's under 10k
N28 band is very important for me because of coverage
You already mentioned this but I think the Samsung Galaxy M52 5g is still a bang for the buck. I'm just not sure if it will get the same extended software support as the other series.
One of my friends have this and boy, this is one hell of a phone with great display. I really like this phone
I will prefer Moto Edge 30 over this, mostly because of Clean UI & probably Motorola won't brick the device with software updates 😏
@@chinmaeK you are one of lucky peeps thats all there are ton of people who have faced issues with xiaomi devices ( poco , mi , redmi all same issue ) and worst thing is it happened for many after their warranty got over.
That's not true for Xiaomi phones. Previously I was using redmi k20 pro and now that's my dad's secondary device. Now after upgrading to samsung a52s I can say one thing very confidently that even after 2 years, I felt more satisfied using k20pro.
@@s1lverhand_ If we see the pattern, half of the newer devices are having this issue, K20 was a legendary device, and will always be
The best phone from xiaomi was the redmi k20/20 pro.
I've been using Xiaomi 11 lite ne 5g since the end of 2021, the phone is totally same in both camera and performance segment. Its really a wonderful smartphone by Xiaomi, just love it.
Watching it on my Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G 😂😂😂
I bought this phone in April 2022 and I love almost everything about it, except the battery life ofc.
I bought this in 2021, but now I switched to the pixel 6a, I can't figure out why the 60hz on the pixel feels more smoother than 90hz on miui, I do miss 33w fast charging though.
Camera?? And bettry back up?
MIUI is dog shit
You might have not turned on 90 hz option because it's off by default

This phone has a big issue of black crush, the unit they sell in india (except review unit of UA-camrs) all have the issue coz they use a different cheap amoled panel for Indian version, you can check the Amazon customer reviews for pics of the issue
Can confirm this for 11 lite 4g
true , it would be really pathetic if people see videos and go for this phone, it was a year of terror for me using this phone. Stopped following UA-cam for phone suggestions, after the ne terror

Most 0f the issues highlighted such as black crush / blue tint /battery drain were not a part of my experience ..it has heen mostly related to minor miui bugs which were subsequently fixed with regular updates .. the overall user experience with this device has been pretty good and under 25k it makes a lot of sence given the inflation: innovation ratio as stated
have been using this phone for 2 years and all my friends will beg me to take their pictures on my phone. the pictures look absolutely stunning in the phone.
I am still using the Max pro M1 , bought it in 2018. But still strong. I hv kept updating the OS, with the current one Android 13 custom ROM. The 9nly thing disappointing is the camera that is not upto expectations, rest all assured it is a rugged phone i hv used so far.

Dude I also own this phone and using this as the only primary device since oct 2021 and I'm happy with it's features, light weight, performance, and what not but the major downgrade of this phone is not its battery or charging speed but it is "black crust" problem of it's screen. For me IQOO 7 5G still makes a lot of sense at 24k to 25k range. I've recently started looking for a new phone and somehow this older phone still has a lot of features with an affordable price tag. What do you guys think?
Don't buy MI phones, overheats and miui has terrible software bugs. I'd say iqoo is good but Funtouch OS is a deal breaker. Then we got Nothing,Realme, Samsung under 25k which are good options to consider. I'd say nothing is best at 25k price range as it is on a discount!
I bought this phone after watching this video. Been using it for the last 6 months. And I have to say it's a good phone. I also flashed PixelOS custom rom in it. Now it has become great❤️

It feels like using IPS Display.
This is the only reason I switched to the next possible light phone :)
I use without cover, so absolutely love this phone apart from the display. Even Asphalt 9 runs at 60 FPS which is missing on Realme 10 Pro Plus... Cameras are also better of this phone...
Xiaomi 11 lite Ne 5g is the best phone
Using since 5-6 months
And can use it for the entire life
No one ever gave that quality in that price
Everything in it is soo perfect like literally PERFECT
Using it since last 2 years works flawless!
