I saw them live recently and they did this song. I’d totally forgotten about it. So beautiful and John’s voice sounded great. It just needs a director to use this song in an epic romantic film to get it the recognition it deserves.
I never heard of Cast until I found a web page about British bands from the nineties, such as Blur and Oasis. Cast were listed on there as well. I was curious and played this song and it grab me right away. So beautiful and touching
Roel Tijskens buy there album, mother nature calls.sweet as fook.this was a staple of mine when I was 17/18 there greatset hits is mega to.while I am oasis threw nd threw, these lads also made up the 90s indie scene in Britain. .......then music died as I knew it post 2007 even though liam gallaghers still the man.ive got tickets to see him in july 2020 :D
@@allybruce4323 yes Mother Nature Calls was great I had it back then played it constantly. You prompted me gonna look for it now😀 Good times when life was simpler......keep the Faith everyone 💕
@Alberto Totaly agreeits in my top 5 Albums of the Decade.Iwas fortunate to see them live in my home town Middlesbrough not long after the release of All Change in the 90's and they certainly didn't disappoint absolute class and last November went to see them again live in their back yard Liverpool.(25 years celebratory tour) and wow what a gig
Me too bro Johnny Powell is heavily underrated just like cast they never got the full credit deserved especially WALKAWAY, sand storm reminds me Wen I lost a loved one I let go
Yes they were amazing and underrated. Me and my girlfriend used to discuss bands of the nineties and there were a lot of very very good bands about.I think there was just so so many good bands about back then many didn't get the appreciation they deserved.
Haven't heard this in ages, it's giving me goosebumps; I'm back in 1997. Fab times. So beautifully sung and gorgeous lyrics. I'm going to see Cast tomorrow supporting Liam Gallagher; honestly I'm nearly more excited about seeing Cast. Saw them twice in 1997 and John solo about 10 yrs ago. Love them ❤
John Power one of the best songwriters ever love the guy, great band too their songs are classics even if you can’t sing their the ones you wish you could, hope to see them again in Dublin.
Cast are and still are a great band,John Powers should get more credit for this song it tugs on your heart and emotions,it’s always been my favourite absolute beast of a song.
Such a masterpiece , i was so lonely just before discovering this song ...just in 2005...but i am italian. Honestly i knew cast for their first album.....
What a brilliant song, still one of the greatest heartbreak songs of the last 20 years, it should have been a first no.1 for cast, I think the released coincided with Diana's death, hence why it wasn't a massive hit
Great song! I was really into Cast in the 90’s. Remember rushing out to Our Price Records to get their singles. They were all great, Alright, Walkaway, Fine Time, Sandstorm, I’m So Lonely, Guiding Star, Flying. Does anyone know where this was filmed? Does that sign in the background at the end read Espiritu Santo?
Hate their references to the commie criminal che and his terror toward the Cuba folks. Yet, this is one of the best Cast's songs and overall Brit-pop tendency of the day back then. Pretty much stood the test of time. Head and shoulders above Blur and Oasis fused together.
Good on John, but what was Lee thinkin.. he must be a bit of a fanny, not wanting to play John's stuff, aye Lee's stuff genius but only so much you can put up with.. shot himself in the foot man they woulda had more than 1 album! I do love the la's but more power to John (get it) pfft brilliant song!

Quality track and what a good track to get you in to a band

I come back to this song every so often. My heart got broke once and this song sums it it
Glad you're able to listen back to this underrated belter. So simple but very very effective. It never fails to get the hair standing up on end.
@GT-iy9wkanybody that says lol is a muppet
Me too bro Johnny Powell is heavily underrated just like cast they never got the full credit deserved especially WALKAWAY, sand storm reminds me Wen I lost a loved one I let go
Johnny Powell is the cousin of ex football legend Scouser .."Robbie Fowler".
I'll never stop loving this song.
Same, can't wait till we see them in a few weeks..
The orchestrals on this song are simply stunning, absolute classic Cast tune
Such a beautiful song. Underrated and unappreciated this band
Yes they were amazing and underrated. Me and my girlfriend used to discuss bands of the nineties and there were a lot of very very good bands about.I think there was just so so many good bands about back then many didn't get the appreciation they deserved.
They still play and are loved by their fans ...like you.
Lol. The underrated meme is really overdone.
This song is beautiful, Cast were amazing.
first time I've heard this for a while. What a beautiful song x

Something dreamy about this song. Wonderful harmonies.

I used to get lost in this song back in the '90s.
A sweet tune, whose emotional tones really do suggest a feeling of loneliness and longing.
I heard of cast,, through a lad 24,,im62,,Ithink there great band proud to see yet another Scots band making excellent music
Liverpool not Scots
This song sums up my life.
I feel ya pain
Criminally underrated band not for us who just how great there were/are
A true masterpiece sung with emotion always 😢brings a tear 😢❤
How hasn't this got more views and likes? Absolute classic.
Think it was only about 5 years ago that cast put all there stuff online . I believe they didn't realise that u could
Such a masterpiece , i was so lonely just before discovering this song ...just in 2005...but i am italian. Honestly i knew cast for their first album.....
Reminds me of Christmas 1997. And a broken heart.
Another classic from the lads.
123,000 views....!?!?
It should have a million views. Brilliant tune 🙏
Reminds me of Bread.
Saw them in Brixton academy back in the day. One of the most underrated bands of that era.
Never tire of this.
Am so grateful that i found this song 😢❤
This song follows me. It has for years. I love it but it's so sad. Thank you Cast
Such an underrated band! Love this song!
Tune! Fitting for the lockdown times I think , we should all give this a listen and feel the love
What a stirring epic tune, their best along with Magic hour
What a brilliant song, still one of the greatest heartbreak songs of the last 20 years, it should have been a first no.1 for cast, I think the released coincided with Diana's death, hence why it wasn't a massive hit
Criminally underrated, this and walkaway are ridiculously underplayed in todays world, britpop seems to fog out john power and cast.
I remember this song, but at the time ,there was alot of good music, and for me it must have fallen through the cracks,.... but i love it now!!😉👍
1 of the only songs that can bring a tear to your eye
A cry for help.. hoping for someone to take him to the right place...
