I wish you had more content. I've watched this at least ten times. Yours is the best cargo bike build on UA-cam. I'm on vacation, wen I return home I will build my first cargo bike. Thank you for the inspiration
Johnny Wikk, Nice build. If I build one for myself, I will add an additional tube welded diagonally where the top and seat tube intersect down to the bottom of the vertical steering tube you just made. It is also welded crisscross to the down tube. This will make the frame more rigid because all the weight of the operator and cargo is concentrated to the rectangular tubing of the cargo frame. Without the tube, you probably noticed a frame flex when carrying heavy load.
This is excellent! Thank you so much for this video. There are others on UA-cam that are either far more complicated or far more sketchy. This is like that happy medium that I think I would ultimately end up looking to emulate when I do my DIY cargo bike.
Do you feel like you’re having to put extra effort into turning or does it work good once it’s up and rolling? That control arm setup gives me an idea for a reverse cargo trike with two small wheels in the front for more capacity. Not a fan of the splatter paint but props for a solid build!
Great !! I Like you Cargo Bike . If possible, please let me know the specifications of the square tube. Look like 40*60 . length Width Thickness? Thank you !!
Hola te felicito por el trabajo es el mejor video que he visto de fabricacion de cargo bike de manera "casera", me gustaria preguntar que medidas tiene el rectangulo de la columna central, gracias
Hey man a buddy and I seriously discussing build a front loader. What material did you use for your main frame? Looks maybe 20x40, but what was the wall thickness? How’s is it handling a load, would you recommend something different?
Make more stuff! How about this idea: I’m currently using my ironing board as a desk. So, do you think you could create a desk that can be raised and lowered like an ironing board? Will you accept the challenge?
how to make sure ground clearance still same with original donor bike? mine losing ground clearance too much, when setting jig only focus on rear and front wheel height and wheel base...
I´ve seen some of these converting to cargo videos - question I am asking myself: Why welding so many flimsy connection, like very thing bike CroMo steel to construction steel, instead to getting rid of all standard bike parts and building complete out of square? Front fork should not be a problem. Rear - I do´t know. But why a seat post like this, when you can come by with a completely new design? You don´t need a vertical pots like this on a cargo bike.
.. because they are idiots.. Cargo bikes are reinforced on many places like break saddles etc as there will be a much higher force. Result will be an exploding brake in the middle of the road with your kids inside... great. And that dude just welds normal tubes to expend an already flimsy bike. Horrible
Why dont you build a trike cargo bike with 2 tyres at the rear end.add another seat at just at the rear of the cyclist..it wud be fun for a person like me as a mild stroke victim.but please keep it as original as it is.i like the shape..i have problem with balance and movement issues.tq
FELIZ 2021 👍. 👌🎆 🎇 🎉 🎊 🎍 🎄🎆🎇🎉🎊🎍🎄

It's almost done. It's rideable at this point, kinda wobbly when you first start but once you're used to how it rides its kinda fun to ride
Johnny... tackled this project like a calm, cool cucumber. Hope you do more projects like this in the near future.
Love the way you use the welding jig to cut and align the main frame tubes - great idea. Brilliant video.
Thanks. I kinda just used what was around. I didn't want to make it too too complex. Thanks for watching Rob

Will it bend?
Johnny, what round tube did you use for the head tube? I can't find 38mm OD / 34mm ID tube anywhere in the US or online steel suppliers.
👍 amigo ese lente gracias saludos de Colombia
Excellent now all you need is paint it camo and attach some turret for gatling gun and flame thrower. Great Job man.
Beautifully designed and engineered
Genius. Creative and most of all very meticulous work
what is the thickness of the box tube you used for the main part of your build ..
This was great fun to watch. We like the shop space too.
What kind of welding did you do and did it hold up? Flux core is inexpensive and what I woudl look to use!
Man, that is an awesome build, thanks for sharing your talent.
Hi and well done! A good job and so a good cycle! Have a good continuation. 😉👍
Great !! I Like you Cargo Bike .

una pregunta, sabes q se llama el tipo de pernos que pone para el brazo de dirección?
Love your ideas, I've made my own bike following this video, just wondering how you got the sick stand to lock away?
Springs, mcmaster carr has them.
I think he angled a little bit the joints.
Awesome job! Really like the paint job and the mounting of the box.
Andreas P thanks duder!
Brilliant work
Hello, what kind of soldering machine do you use ?? Thanks

*underrated* !!! Awesome background. This video is aesthetic af*** great attention to detail.
Exelente proyecto amigo quisiera saber si puedes compartir las medidas de los materiales que usaste gracias
Felicitaciones! Muy prolijo tu trabajo. Adelante!
Fantastic, lots of little engineering problems overcome ,very neatly done thanks for posting bren new subscriber
Is there a reason for making the handle bar pipe 90 degrees? Is it for the cargo area or would it mess with the steering mechanic to angle it?
Make more stuff! How about this idea: I’m currently using my ironing board as a desk. So, do you think you could create a desk that can be raised and lowered like an ironing board?
Will you accept the challenge?
Excellent filming, by the way. Your edits and music choice are brilliant.
Épale amigo, qué tipo de soldadura utilizas?
how to make sure ground clearance still same with original donor bike? mine losing ground clearance too much, when setting jig only focus on rear and front wheel height and wheel base...
