I am a ugandan, and two weeks ago we met pastor robert kayanja, who is also a key spiritual father in uganda; he gave us a brief about prophet Obiri Yeboah. He was very instrumental in the revival in Uganda since 1971 under Redeemed church; then he left in the late 1970s, but returned in the 80s and got involved with a woman who wasn't his wife; after that engagement he died in Uganda and his body taken to Ghana for burial. It was some insight.
Years ago as a kid, I saw what genuine church looked like. Everyone was full of power, love and the Spirit. It was not like the pastor was a super man. No! The church members walked in power as well. Until the modern day penterascality permeated the circle.
I remembered my dad, a church elder then demonstrating the spiritual. One of the days he sensed a lady who prophesied, saw visions and do all sorts. So, he called our senior pastor and told him that the lady functions with the spirit of divination. But, after a little hesitation the lady was called to be prayed for after which the spirit was cast out. When the woman discovered she couldn't do the stuffs she did before she left.
See if we lack discernment, we will call demonic demonstration move of God. Paul showed us how to deal with evil when it comes in good packs. Paul cast out the devil of divination from the lady who gave 'accurate prophecy' about them for days. Today in our church this lady would have been ordained a prophetess or even a lead pastor. It's really chagrin that our minds are not trained to decipher darkness when they come as lights, even when we are the sons of Light as believers.
