- Zimbabwean superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and The Black Spirits performing at The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy NY on April 9, 2013.
From Wikipedia: "With his husky voice, he has become the most recognized voice to emerge from Zimbabwe and onto the international scene and he has earned a devoted following across Africa and beyond. A member of Zimbabwe's KoreKore tribe, Nzou Samanyanga as his totem, he sings in the nation's dominant Shona language along with Ndebele and English. He also incorporates elements of different musical traditions, giving his music a distinctive style, known to fans as 'Tuku Music.'"

You make me proud - munendipasa manyemwe
You make me proud. It's a song from a parent to their child saying you make proud because of what you have achieved. He is just repeating that line.
Sorry this took long but he just saying 'You make me proud with how you carry yourself Sir, i have learnt through your actions. When you ululate our own people you give us pride". At the end of the song he sings a rendition to his sons rendition who had passed , " what is wrong dad'.

The other backing vocalist ain't Zimbabwean.. could pick his acent
this guy is good but the band is too lean
I think its good to be lean, that why he always produce high quality because the whole process is structure in lean philosophy eliminate those process with no value.
Jonathan, atleast three female backing vocalists and an electric guitarist do have value to his type of music
Electric guitar, not so much but he usually does have two female backing vocalists.
