It's such beautiful watch. Case profile is better than turtle reissue.

That’s extremely nice. It’s really in excellent condition.
Seiko is going to be releasing a more affordable Willard later this year. SPB151 and SPB153. Looks like they did a really nice job with it. It’s going to have the 6r35, sapphire, and super hard coating. Not sure about pricing, but I would say around $1000.

I have this exact watch...It was a gift from my grandmother on my high school graduation in 1975. Its completly original except for the band and it still works and is in great shape. I'd love to have it cleaned up, any ideas where I could send it for service ? The Seiko factory was no help. They said that they no longer make the seals and the best they could do is a light clean up. I'd love to get a new band as well. do they make new bands that look like the original ? Any help guys would be great.

Check “uncle Seiko”, they sell a lot of different straps for vintage models.

Great watch. I’ve never seen a two piece Velcro strap. Where did you get it?

A beautiful watch. Looking forward to the next video.
Any tips where to find a watch like this? It's a minefield with so many having been modified. Also what would be a good price?
    Thanks!

Because of the crown locking pin, how do you manually wind the Williard? Thanks.

He’s showing an 8119, which was made for the foreign market. The 8810s were the ones sold in the PX in Japan, where the VN bound soldiers bought them. A watch bought in the US in 1975 wouldn’t have seen action, the war was over by then. The 6105 was built from late 69 to mid 77.

What was $99 in 1975 worth in today's money? Adjusted for inflation, $99.00 in 1975 is equal to $490.18 in 2020.
