Hi Keegan. I’m a follower of Joel and I was curious when your channel popped up on UA-cam. I love how disciplined your days are, your lists and your beautiful children. How lucky they are to have you as their Dad! I, like you,began studying the piano as an adult. I began the piano in my mid-twenties by myself for some time and eventually each of my 3 children would join me on our lessons every Tuesday evening for many years. I totally understand how you do not like to play a piano which is not in tune. That proves that you have a great ear for music. Like your many activities you have to make time with the piano, even if is only for 15 minutes each day. As you know with exercise, you start with exercising for short periods and then gradually increase your times. Sounds like you have a teacher of the piano who really knows what he or she is doing. Get that piano tuned! Unfortunately you live in the north of England, which is not the best environment for a piano. I noticed on one of Joel's updates that he has a National Trust membership. You should take him to Nostell Priory. The house is now closed for the winter and dogs are not allowed in the garden, but they are allowed around the parkland off the lead, apart where it asks to keep them on a lead by the lakeside. The café also allows dogs.
Your kids are gorgeous. Your discipline is off the charts !! Question: Do you find that your discipline rubs off on your kids? You seem to be a really great dad. I have been following Joel & Lia for a few years now & I can honestly say that I have never seen him this happy. You make a great couple and I am seriously rooting for you two to "make it" as a couple (whatever that means nowadays anyway). Just take good care with our Joely & his big heart. He means an awful lot to us. One last question: You don't happen to have a twin brother who is straight & single, do you? ;-)
Omg Keegan you are absolutely brilliant...gotta love lists..being organized and goal oriented..and achiever kudos...and yes as a single dad to 3 boys 1 girl... it's never easy as at times you can feel watched. Dads loving their kids and wanting to parent being happy being home is sort of new to people. I think we are the right way..its about being the best for them and their happiness. I know with mine..youngest now 22 I say if you can honestly say your trying and doing your best...I'm happy. I never want them to have that have to be perfect expectation. Yea just be who you are and be the best you.☺💪👏❣

Re: keeping a list so you can validate your progress Yes! I find it very satisfying and even encouraging to cross things off a list. Sometimes I'll even add things I've already done that day so they are there as "evidence" of my productivity. I think your first foray into vlogging was pretty darn good!

Our sunsets, after daylight savings time,occur at 5:17 p 13/11/2022. I would be bummed-out continuously if our sunsets occurred as early as y’all’s. Fen trying to play with the cows was cute. It is very beautiful where you live. I can see why you stay there. I love watching a Haka. So much power and emotion in it. I didn't know that New Zealand did it. I thought it was just a tradition in Hawaii. I liked. I subscribed. You're so motivated and organized, makes me feel a little overwhelmed with my ... whatever.. I liked your vlog. I think it takes a while for a non sports partner to enjoy it. But tell Joel the secret is that there's always drama, there's players and coaches who are like the heroes or the villains or the backstabbers and the saints. This video is 30 mins. Maybe next time cut it up into 10-15 min long videos. Shorter videos can be more focused and easier for you. In Oklahoma, our cloudy weather is December, January & February. Luckily, Tulsa, OK is much further south in the latitudes and it doesn’t get dark as early as it does in Northern England. Our sunsets, after daylight savings time,occur at 5:17 p 13/11/2022. I would be bummed-out continuously if our sunsets occurred as early as y’all’s. Fen trying to play with the cows was cute. It is very beautiful where you live. I can see why you stay there. I love watching a Haka. So much power and emotion in it. I didn't know that New Zealand did it. I thought it was just a tradition in Hawaii. If your daughter wants to go to RADA Joel would be good to talk to about it since I believe he went there and so did his friend Lia. It's nice to get some feedback from someone who attended a school to get an idea of how it is.

Well done, Keegan! I enjoyed watching your first vlog :). (I've been following Joel (& Lia) for ages). I am a Brit living in the US - been here 24 years now and so I love watching British vloggers to make me feel like I am back in the UK from time to time, though I live where I am at - in one of Joel's favorite places (Nashville!)
I liked. I subscribed. You're so motivated and organized, makes me feel a little overwhelmed with my ... whatever.. I liked your vlog. I think it takes a while for a non sports partner to enjoy it. But tell Joel the secret is that there's always drama, there's players and coaches who are like the heroes or the villains or the backstabbers and the saints. It's what made me get into American football.
I understand what you’re doing with music, i always enjoyed teaching adults the do better and learn more.
