What I like most about this channel is that he is not a bombastic American who lives only to make a buck from their UA-cam channel, bolster their ego and "shop", who sounds like a used car salesman on steroids, who talks you through every opinion about the topic they have, who begs you to subscribe and support them. He is a creative man of action and few words, not in ya face like yanks.

Once again - beautiful work Sir! Great to see you using your sanding rig (that I watched you build last night when I should really have been sleeping!!). The philosophy of restore not replace has so many plusses - the development/engagement of wonderful skills, the obvious environmental benefits and in most cases, you wind up with a fully functional item that was built to a far higher standard than a modern version. I applaud you again for bringing your skills into view to inspire others! Many regards and thank you from Sydney, Aust - Dave

I know this is an old video, so comments may not get read, but three safety issues here.. 1. Never, ever reuse an old grinding wheel without first testing for cracks, you could end up with a face full of shrapnel as it explodes. 2. All grinding wheels should be mounted with “blotters” - thick paper ‘washers’ - either side of the grinding-wheel to equalise the clamping forces on the wheel. 3. Don’t slow the wheel once motor is shut off by grinding on it, it takes the wheel out of balance by taking more material off one place in the wheel. Nice restoration, but unsafe wheel maintenance. Les in UK
