Lovely! I also have the same Canon 90 camera and Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 lens and am thinking of building a rig soon. Thanks for sharing the rig building techniques.
I have the same camera but the connection is with an atomos ninja v and I don't know if the cable in particular has to be from atomos because the image quality is not very convincing even though the atomos ninja has many options I also have the same 18-35 lens
Respected sir Thanks so much for making a canon 90d into a cinematic look, please confirm, from where I can buy all equipment.Except which Matti box is good for canon 90d, please answer
Does this output 1080I 60 to monitor. The reason I ask this is that my atmos ninja 2 can extract the 29.97 and 23.98 out of the signal. If it only outputs 60p then I will have to pass on this camera. My Canon g30 is a camcorder made for video and outputs 1080i broadcast and I always record external 29.97 broadcast NTSC.
Wow, it's professional. How is the weight of after all setup gadgets? Myself, about a couple of weeks ago bought 90D... I am learning #nepalkailashtrekking
I bought the monitor for my Canon 90D, but it turned out that when you connect it to camera it shuts off the camera monitor. It fine when you want to film with manual focus, but when you want to rely on autofocus (and i.e. tracking), you loose this ability. This makes it useless for me, as I do use autofocus while filming. I did use the function where I switched HDMI output to "clean" to have both monitors on, but then I couldn't make camera to start recording. For me it is 90D problem, and it's total rubish. I'm surprised how you fail to mention that little flaw. How is it a Cinematic Beast then?
@@giantguitar No, I've never resolved it. I found somewhere at tech forum about Canon 90D that it would require HDMI splitting which 90D simply is not equipped to do. So I returned my monitor
When the canon 90d camera is connected to an external device via HDMI during video recording, no images appear on the camera's monitor and this is not ok, everything else is perfect
Can you confirm that when you connect the HDMI monitor you can still shoot in 24p? Some people say that it switches to 30p, without telling you. And is that true in both clean hdmi and non-clean hdmi?
@@TJALDEA That's not what I'm asking. I know that the camera has a 24p mode now. What I'm saying is that when you connect an HDMI monitor on it, and you set it to a CLEAN HDMI feed, then the frame rate CHANGES by itself to 30p -- without the camera telling you, and without the manual mentioning it. Try it and you'll see.
Sir you have to keep the side handle in the left because the camera itself has the grip on the right.
Thanks for sharing us some techniques in order to know more about the camera and in order to explore more of it! BELLE

good video friend . Do you know if there is a cage to use the Canon 90D but with the battery grip on?
