The political theater is obnoxious and I just wish these politicians would work as hard as the people they allegedly represent.
It's probably not a coincidence that the only time we get hard GOP pushback on the debt ceiling is when they don't have their guy behind the big desk
The GOP wouldn't behave this way if their base didn't absolutely love it.

Beau is making logical sense once again. My only concern, is these are kinda the same people that think a nuclear war can be won. That there are,”acceptable losses”.

I believe you're correct, but I would be lying if I said that there wasn't a nagging feeling in the back of my mind telling me 'yeah, but they're also republicans and I'm not entirely certain they don't actually want to destroy everything.'
I find it rather ridiculous that every year that i need to be worried about whether i will keep my job because government could not pass another fiscal bill, furlough, or whatever.

We are rotting from the inside out. When we're bickering internally the rest of the world is catching up to us or even surpassing us economically and through their modern infrastructure. It's tiresome watching Congress fight amongst each other like little kids. The world is watching and they're laughing.

Although I agree with you, "the base" will still blame Biden and the Democrats 'causes most of 'em don't want to admit they're wrong for backing the GQP.
"look at what you made me do" as if that doesn't sound like the exact same victim blaming argument I've seen put forth from American conservatives over Internet discussions surrounding immigration, sexual assault, their political leanings and so much more.

You're probably right, but this new GOP isn't exactly running on all cylinders.
