    This is why I love rugby. Certain individuals can just do the impossible in an inspirational moment. - Lomu, Shane, Habanna, Gerber, Blanco, Cullen, Edwards, Campese, and co. Zee seems to have had quite a few of these moments himself and have joined the club - let's hope there are a few more to come.

    I know Zee was Little Elm Texas he went to my dads church . he came to my house to hang and watch football. he even went swimming with me as a kid he learned all of his rugby in Texas dats all he did. Lived , Breathe, Ate Rugby we even called him rugby haha.

    Wow I thought he might have been a one hit wonder after the Habana try but he obviously has to be considered as one of the best wingers in the game. Amazing

    Both of them play in the Afica Cup every year and it is televised. Zimbabwe have also competed in two Rugby World Cups and I can 100% guarantee that both nations take 15's more seriously than 7's. Both of these teams are not even regulars on the sevens circuit anyway.

  • @HTBrah
    @HTBrah 12 років тому

    True. The Top 14 is a well known league for proper followers but the average person in the Southern Hemisphere only knows or cares about Super Rugby because it brings the top three teams in the world together. At best they might know about the Aviva Premiership but they certainly wouldnt know many or any of the teams in Europe. Which is a shame because I am a big fan of the Heineken cup and I reside in Australia atm.

    I guess the man himself is incorrect. I personally spoke to him as I know him. He wasn't good enough back on the Africa continent but he improved and developed once arriving in the USA. I guess you think everything on Wikipedia is true.

    I guess that's a matter of opinion but the French Top 14 in general is one the most well known leagues on the planet so anybody who is a consistent starter for one of the Top 14 sides isn't a hermit in the grand scheme of things. Especially not Estebanez who plays for one of the richest clubs in Europe who compared to Ngwenya who really got on the scene for a single try (or two depending on who you ask) in the 2007 RWC. However, the debate on those two players should be for another day.

    When you use colloquial terms, they can be misinterpreted. That statement can easily be seen to mean two different things. Secondly although mistakes can be made in wikipedia, I believe Takudzwa Ngwenya, would be a much more well known rugby player globally compared to Fabrice Estebanez. So his information would be very accurate considering the amount of sources available. There would be an extremely small percentage of people who would intentionally produce incorrect information.

  • @Konformation07
    @Konformation07 12 років тому

    @DAViiEN202402 No, his family moved to the USA where he picked up the game in Texas. I know because I live in Texas and play with many people who played with him and helped him harness his game.

    • @denisemccarthy5384
      @denisemccarthy5384 3 роки тому

      I don’t think the people who say he is a foreigner have ever heard his accent. Like Taulupe Faletau he is as American as it gets.

    • @denisemccarthy5384
      @denisemccarthy5384 3 роки тому

      Well Taulupe Faletau is Welsh but you get what I mean, skin colour does not translate to accent or birthplace.

  • @Konformation07

    Rugby wikis are also subject to information lingering without correction due to the lack of views and people pointing them out. I recently challenged and was correct about misinformation in the short (yet wrong nonetheless) wiki of Fabrice Estebanez. Anyway, what did I mean he improved in the USA. That's what "picked up the game" can also mean. When someone tells someone else to pick up the game. It means to raise your standard of play. Don't speak for the general person because you messed up.

  • @HTBrah
    @HTBrah 11 років тому

    Every single person who plays 7's in the world series also plays 15's as that is where they are selected from. They are both rugby players, you race them Carlin Isles will win

  • @HTBrah
    @HTBrah 12 років тому

    Incorrect he learnt to play rugby and played all of his schoolboy rugby in Zimbabwe and then played club rugby for Plano when he moved to America. He did attend a trial for the Bulls but was not selected by them.

    Ok, tell me one of those countries

  • @HTBrah
    @HTBrah 12 років тому

    Well what do you mean by "picked up the game in Texas", the general person would interpret that as him "learning the game in Texas". Like I said in my initial comment, he moved to America and played for Plano where there were more opportunities. Furthermore if any of my arguments sounds remotely similar to the information on wikipedia, then it is most probably correct as all information is verified by the sources and created by rugby union supporters who are passionate about the game.

    @HTBrah 12 років тому

    Errr, You just contradicted yourself and ended up agreeing with everything I said, first you said he learnt the game in Texas and now your saying he wasnt good enough when he was playing in Africa. Considering I have had the pleasure of meeting him and asked about how he developed his rugby, I am confident my information is correct.

  • @Konformation07
    @Konformation07 12 років тому

    I know that and that's obvious but he moved to the USA and some family did but he harnessed his game in Texas. He knew how to play but playing in Texas helped him take his game to the next level. I talked to him and I know him on a personal level. You need to touch up on your English because it sucks. You also need to do some research before trying to strip the USA of all credit.

  • @Konformation07
    @Konformation07 12 років тому

    No I didn't contradict myself. If you are incapable of comprehending my comment then that is a personal problem. Where did I say he learned the game in Texas? I never used the word "learned" at all. I never agreed with you at all. My point was made so you were agreeing with me. How about you get what I type first then reply. I saw no reason why you felt the need to reply in the first place. Keep reading about him and I'll ring him up if I have a question about him.
